Look what I found while dumpster diving
What mindset do you have to be in to rummage through a dumpster?
>>153772347You want to go to the dumpsters behind stores they're always got good stuff
>>153772347I had a coworker who would dumpster dive behind the T Mobile store after we got off work at the restaurant next door and sell whatever he found on ebay
>>153772347I dunno but here in Australia they have annual tip collections in the suburbs. People put out their unwanted furniture (perfectly good) old computers and even tubs of old action figures/toys their kids used to play with. People slowly drive past each pile to see if anything catches their eye, some guys even take exclusively bicycles for parts. We used to go around on our pushbikes as kids and rummage through some piles, best things i found were a diamond ring and a sick Ceramic bleeding Skull with a spider on top biting it. Haven't done it for like 20 years, it's only fun when you got a buddyDumpster diving into literal garbage is sorta gross though, I only understand it when they check company/business large containers. Those stores that just throw out brand new unopened merchandise because it didn't sell or they want to make more space for new product

Was really disappointed in this movie when it came out. Thought it was going to be cool at least, but it was just lame :/
testing, testing, that disc is right where it belongs
>>153772528>Australia>(perfectly good) old computersKnowing your country, you get the most obscure shit ever! You're so lucky, can't believe you're one of the ONLY English-speaking countries to ever receive the SG-1000.
>>153774607That's a shame to hear. I didn't have the highest expectations for Raya, but it does bite that it was so instantly forgotten within mere months.
Rank 'em.
>>153772347Only time I've ever rummaged was the time I threw out an old laptop and then remembered later that night that I hadn't trashed the hard drive. I'm paranoid about that sort of shit so I went out, dug under a couple bags, found it, dug it out of the bag (had the presence of mind to wear gloves. Then took it to my apartment, took a fucking power drill to the hard drive, went back out and binned it.It was fucking gross and there's no other circumstances where I'd've done it.
>>153772149You found trash in the trash.Wow...
>>153787392>Shit>Shit with fags>Shit with Asian cripple.
>>153772149Only somewhat interesting as it looks like a Redbox Blu-ray.
>>153787449that's what I told op, that disc was exactly where it belonged when op found it
>>153772347I had a friend in HS who found an old SNES and a couple of games near the trash of some guys house, and me personally I had some ladies move out of my neighborhood and left a old looking shelf that I just took cause it looked nice.People throw away some good stuff man. Plus if nothing else if you want a quick buck you can take someones trash and sell it for a quick buck. Like a common thing I always see is perfectly good chairs on my neighborhood street, I can imagine a respectable gentlemen just taking them and flip em for a couple of bucks off of Facebook Marketplace or something
>>153787392All worse than Encanto~
>>153772347I found a gun in a dumpster once.
>>153772528>into literal garbageStore dumpsters are mostly overstock and damaged product, it’s more like yanking a bunch of nice suitcases out of a grody donation bin. The suburb curb is an intra-suburbanite exchange.
>>153788940Neat
>>153772149Why would you take it out
At least Sisu was a cute danger noodle.
This should be just my thread but I'm struggling to think of anything /co/ related I've curbsided. Found a couple Goku figs that retail for $30.00 each and a hand's worth of Yugioh cards including a blue eyes white dragon a year or so ago but obviously those are /a/.
>>153787392I'll give Strange World credit for not making the grandpa the villain.
