Which is fine, but there had to be a way to still tell a three-act story with natural progression instead of everything being fine outside of Jax. It's how absolutely perfect the resolution is for everyone involved outside of Jax that really makes this all weird.I know Goose said she wanted to be "experimental", but while ditching the three-act structure is definitely unorthodox, I'd hardly call it something as bizarre as an artsy film or End of EVA. The general ideas for everything in this finale were good (except the pet abstractions, that's weird as fuck, just have them dissappear into the code) but the execution was weird.

There were other people in the circus and their personal baggage was theirs to handle, Jax being a dick was just a slight push to lives that were already fucked up. You'll notice Jax didn't yell at Kaufmo like Ribbit and he still ended up abstracting. He had baggage that we'll never find out, but from Jax's perspective, he killed him just like he killed Ribbit.I don't think the finale should have stopped to state "they actually abstracted because of other things", in the end the only one Jax abstracted was himself. He was a dick to others, but he wasn't the driving force of their abstraction. If Pomni hadn't intervened in episode 4 and Gangle abstracted, he would have thought HE killed her, when it would have just happened due to her personal trauma resurfacing due to her own actions, not him.

I say this. This ending leaves me empty, but... it feels complete. Outside of lack of interactions between Jax and Gangle cause I like Ribbun ship a lot. I could at some point write an AU with Ribbun things happening and some things changing, but... I dunno. This feels complete enough. I feel empty, but... it's not bad. It just finished.

They build the tent to hold Jax and that goes pretty much nowhere. This feels like it could've benefited from more screentime. Maybe not playing the episode that's already released 2 months ago might've helped with that.I know this isn't officially out yet but it feels like entire scenes are just missing from this, even though I doubt there are.
