I figured out what bothered me so much about seeing their real counterparts, and especially Jax, being ok so much. It means circus Jax is a snapshot of him at his lowest moment, if the snapshot just happened later he wouldn't have been such an asshole and his circus body which Caine accidentally designed around said trauma might not have fed into it. It was really fucking dumb to design these characters completely around flaws that they had during the time of scanning, then show "hey look your irl counterparts that aren't quite literally designed around your personal trauma are doing good."

I think there's probably a grace period when someone first abstracts that their mind is still there but is falling apart and becomes uncontactable after a while. I don't think anyone else could make contact with the abstracted by hugging them, they're too far gone at this point. When we see them in the aquarium afterwards it looks like they've devolved further into animalistic creatures. Keeping them in the dark keeps them from getting agitated which is the most they are able to do for them.He needed darkness so what he needed was a helmet that covered his eyes. We see him wearing hats like in the baseball game and that doesn't help.The same exit that Pomni found, the red door which is what Caine was building as part of his prototype "choose to stay in the circus" adventure.Dunno. Guess he was busy trying to get the cast to love him.Guess so. Does feel like a good hook for a sequel, especially if the blue dot had come to represent a lot of Caines negative thoughts.

Eventually through looking around for warm places to stay he stumbles on the headset and goes into the circus.After he confesses all this to Ribbit she puts her bow on him and it seems like he's going to relax but he hears Kaufmo knock on her door and freaks out, throwing the bow away.There's some other stuff dribbled throughout. In the end human Jax is revealed to have made some friends in the real world and it's implied that they're queer / trans / whatever as they go to real life Zoobles bar which is specifically stated to be a place for people questioning their identity to go and hang out with like minded people.

From what we've seen for whatever reason he hasn't been able to undo abstraction, and it's not as if he didn't want to or care as he was clearly nervous when it was just Kinger left.It might be that he can only have one instance of a mind-file running at one time and that once you abstract there's no way to "turn you off" and reload you back to an earlier state. It's unclear the extent of his powers before and even less clear now that he's separated from the other AI.It seems to be that the other AI was helping him make stable creations but it wasn't sentient like he was which is why he said they only had the power to be god of the circus "together".
