Like she wants to self harm herself so badly instead of learning how to forgive her old self. That would have been a far more poignant message than whatever the fuck ending she gave Jax.
Watched it with proper subs finally. It seems like Jax's trans status is likely a misunderstanding, given all the other characters' irl counterparts have their own personal backstory traumas resolved meanwhile Jax's irl counterpart is still a guy. Likely the thing he had said to his mother was involving something along the lines of his crossdressing fascinations or something of that sort, given prior scenes with the maid outfit and what have you.
