I admit I have autism and I really miss Tutenstein. I want to talk about this show because I find it so fascinating. I loved how childish and bratty Tut was, yet he still cared for others. True, he kept learning the same lesson, but I take it as that he's technically dead, so he can't grow or age.
>>153784608I hate it that this show wasn't popular. It was such a good show. It was only popular for the network it was on. Nobody even remembers it rerunning on The Hub, yet they remember Animaniacs and Batman: The Animated Series rerunning on The Hub. I still wonder how The Hub was able to get rerun rights to this show.
>>153784608I like how the show really did its research when it came to Egyptian mythology
>>153786996It pretty much had to, because it was on Discovery Kids. It was also clever that it was structured in a way where it didn't feel like an educational show, but Egyptian facts are mentioned if one pays attention. It's very rewarding.
>>153784608Jay Stephens remains one of the most unsung talents of the last 30 years. The guy just knew how to make fun cartoons/comics. Jetcat really deserved a full series but the shorts we got were fun in anycase too. Also, fun fact, when I was a kid I only caught brief glimpses of Invader Zim near the end of its run. Somehow I got it in my head that Zim had a similar premise to Tutenstein and he was actually Gaz and Dib's weird alien friend who went on adventures.
I miss watching discovery kids. I remember this and grossology
>>153784608why is the mummy Jewish
>>153784608Seeing your thread instantly brought the opening to mind I think I still have it on DVD
>>153784608I love that this show literally had a security guard who had the same personality essentially as Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.
