I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but...

Many Cartoon Network shows looked like they HAD educational value, but they didn't.

Dexter: science? No, it doesn't teach you anything about it. And it's just a backdrop. It's just sibling rivalry and explosions.

Time Squad: learning about historical figures? No, the historical figures are made a joke of.

Billy & Mandy: learning about mythological figures? (Heck, many of them are relatively obscure!). No, they're made a joke of, just like Time Squad did with the historical figures.

Courage: teaching about bravery and facing your fears? It's ruined because it's a horror show.

Foster's: friendship? No, it's cynical, and Bloo is a big jerk. (Though Craig originally wanted Foster's to be wholesome and about friendship, but it was ruined due to Cartoon Network's policies).

Gym Partner: teaching you about zoology? No, it doesn't.

Chowder: cooking? No, it won't teach you about cooking, and the recipes are impossible.

Megas XLR: mechanics? No, Coop is a terrible role model (slacker, eating junk food, and playing video games), and it was smashing.

And, to a lesser extent...

Powerpuff Girls: a show for little girls (because it features little girls)? No, it's extremely violent.

Ed, Edd n Eddy: teaching about preteens growing up and school life (like Lizzie McGuire and As Told by Ginger)? No, it's slapstick. It's a farce. It's unrealistic.

I genuinely can't decide if this is just decently crafted bait or if you're actually that much of a fucking idiot.

None of those shows were made to be educational.

Time Squad taught a little bit of history, but not much.

>Billy & Mandy: learning about mythological figures?
That might be the biggest fucking stretch I think I've ever seen before in my life. It's a boy, a girl, and the grim reaper. The pilot episode is about how they tricked Grim into being their friend instead of taking a hamster. There are mythological figures, sure, but that's mixed-in with a bunch of other random bullshit like references to Blacula and Little Shop of Horrors.

I'm not going to bother reading the rest because I can tell by the titles they're all going to be this bad. Dexter and Time Squad were the only ones that made the slightest bit of sense.
