You overestimate how much Alfred does in stories just because you like him, more often than not, he doesn't affect the plot at all.
He usually just stays in the cave, gives some dry humor and/or wisdom, and maybe plays mission control, which Batman doesn't really need.

Task Force X never really died, because Suicide Squad is too mainstream now. Checkmate has reformed (in some capacity) in the most recent Secret Six, but it wasn't clear if they're back under the Task Force X umbrella or doing their own thing.
ARGUS is gone.
Spyral is gone.
Stormwatch was brought back, kinda, but that was before Wildstorm was retconned to multiversal shenanigans.
