As a creator, his duty was to make his people happy. To make them feel rewarded, satisfied, and fulfilled. At first, he may have had that mindset as well. But at some point, he became consumed by his own arrogance, thinking he is 'the one running the show', and that is what led to his failure. Below is an example to help you better understand what I mean.Of course, he may have had his own logic behind it. Some people might interpret it as a lesson can be learned. But above any logic or lesson, what he should have prioritized was the feelings of the people he was supposed to satisfy. Because that is his role, the essence of what it means to be a creator. At the very least, I do not think there is any satisfaction to be found in an ending where a being, after so much time was spent trying to save him, is meaninglessly killed by the will of an absolute power. Here is another example.It would not have been difficult for him to know what people wanted, but instead of listening to the suggestion, he merely complained that people were tormenting him. He prioritized his ego over what people hoped. Not very professional indeed. To quote a line from the show, “Pathetic! You're like a child! What kind of all powerful being has such a fragile ego?!” describes him far too accurately. After being criticized by the people he was supposed to entertain, he gave them the worst nightmare imaginable. And he received the exact reaction he deserved. The world would be better if he never comes back. He is a failure as a creator.
