is it a hot take but I think 7th episode could've been rewritten a little, it'd be better. It's less liked episode aside from two, that was just showcase of their regular adventures and pomni coming in terms with rest of the cast. While 7th episode good in some ways especially that ending, maybe if they gave slightly more focus on Caine then Jax I think it could've benefit from it.Now, it's not to say I hate Jax, but let's be real, almost half of runtime spent on his abstraction and worries, only to gets us revealed that it'll be the same case in finale basically. Some things could've cut down a lot or just shortened. Like yeah we get it, he's not doing well, and mentally unstable, his crash out in the end is actually the moment that mattered the most, so it wouldn't get changed. But his talk with caine where's he's trying to distract him, should've been reworked, maybe would've worked more with zooble. You know kinda, on the nose that person hated most on caine is trying to get close with etc. Also it would've reduced fans bitching about Jax having too much screen time a lot. Second the cast felt flat most of the time, ragatha and pomni talking about kinger, kinger doing nothing mostky as well(not counting last line), same with zub and gangle. They only matter in ending of the episode so yeah, redacted as well. And third, that screen time should've gone to Caine. Many felt huge suprise when he went from zero to hundred immediately, so I think it could've been good build up done in episode seventh, to show that he deeply cares about them and tries his hardest etc. Overall many people pointed out also that this episode feels like filler, mostly because of poor pacing setups etc, the tension doesn't pay off as wanted.

maybe bad take but I think the one of the good things from finale, and Jax overall character is semi realistic representation of abusive mentally ill person while also showing his trauma and victim feelings.
