And yet, he still could have made different choices at every point we saw in that POV. You can understand why he didn't. But you can still make different choices. Gangle not being able to cry about him at first, but then later could really got to me. She had no reason to feel for him because of the constant torment he inflicted on her. But I think she came to terms with the fact that he was a broken human, like she once was.

I was genuinely impressed by episode 3 both in Kinger's characterization and the shows ability to actually freak me out with the horror elements. Then binge watching 3-8 I was impressed with how the technical ability to have so many visual gags, genre styles, etc from other media that the show clearly took inspiration from. All while still having strong enough character writing and world building that kept me wanting to learn more. And I know when I spend days/weeks autistically thinking deeper about a show and questions I have, it has me hooked.
