I think the fact that just because they are brain scans does not mean they are organic, they are still just as digitized and therefor subjected to the same inadequate faculties Caine is that makes him less than human. So when Caine said he wanted them to build the circus with him for their human input... he wouldn't get it, just more imitations but this time from a different character card. Obviously, Caine is written too human for a true AI, he has feelings and desires, the show poses that he has a lack of organic thought and creativity, a hot button topic right now int he creative worlds of humanity, but you CAN'T look at Caine and say you would not speak to him like a person. Extremely disappointing they basically glossed over the brain scan truth nuke. They should of made Kinger conflicted with the idea of telling the others the truth for sanity's sake or dooming the crew to knowing their NPC reality. Could of been a good plot point that was revealed later on and given Kinger/Caine actual development. EX: Kinger isn't acting himself after Caine gets deleted, the crew presumes that not even the bucket is helping Kinger anymore after Caine is gone, but he's really just hiding the terrible world shattering news from them. Once Caine returns because deleting a file doesn't really get rid of it right away, he's no different and didn't have a gay therapy session alone in the void. Kinger then reveals what he found on the computer as a final desperate plea to Caine, hoping it will change him. This instead sends the entire cast into psychosis, bringing them all to the brink of abstracting. Caine, worried he will lose everyone in the circus, NOW has a gay therapy session and realizes that having the blue dot is the root of what pushes him to hurt everyone. Caine is now tasked with preventing everyone's abstractions because deep down he doesn't want to lose anyone/be alone, Pomni even foreshadows this in 8. All this could be taking place during or after Pomni and Jax have their gay B plot, and Jax can still abstract cuz he hates himself or whatever.

At past we were hinted that Ragatha kept trying to reach out for Jax while he kept pushing, and she give up on him and started being less soft to point out his flaws as well, that's why they conflicted at most points. In 6th ep, Ragatha explained that she always trying to be there for people and always supportive, but when she fails she blames herself more and gets even worse into people pleasing. So it was strange for me that in flashbacks, Ragatha wasn't shown to trying to cheer Neither Jax nor ribbit.

As a casual fan, I really enjoyed the series overall. I did not care for any shipping or main theories and just went along for the ride while enjoying the fanart that came my way.I think the ending is the best outcome for the characters, especially Caine, who got to "grow up" as opposed to dying having never learned his lesson. Jax's fate was sadly appropriate. His own issues caused the death of two other people, and he was already internalizing a third one... At least i'm glad Pomni got to comfort him.And hell, who knows, maybe after some eons in the circus the gang figures out how to fix the brains scans from abstraction! No way to prove me wrong! Ha ha ha...Anyway, really good show for an indie animation studio, can't wait to see more stuff like this pop out with it's success.
