>>154093572I think the pacing was off. Final episode was "Jax's episode" like Spudy's was Gangle's and the manor was Kinger's. It's the wrong place for it. The finale simply spent too much time on.... what amounts to pretty trivial character development now that, you know, their god is dead and they're not even the originals. Okay, the toxic dickbag got himself and two others to abstract. But he's somehow still worth risking it all to help him come back? oooookay. They almost have an answer to bringing people back from abstraction... his mind was in there somewhere. But it's vague as to if there's any actual solution. ...That and I don't think Gooseworks had the balls to kill of Caine for real. They could have had Kinger figure out their names from their mind-files and found a wifi connection and looked themselves up as they work to make and shape their own world. Maybe even figure out how to un-abstract everyone in the basement. But no, pussy out. He's back. And with just as much fanfare are Jax's abstraction. Or, you know, the blue Bubble could wake up after his consumer/tormentor was deleted.
