I don't really care about the specific situation, but I can say that I have observed that it's also the Lilith fags that are very much for the wife swap theory because in the show everything has been pointing to Lilith being very neglectful and abusive to Charlie. Erica said that the only thing Charlie has ever wanted was Lilith's love and attention. Charlie and Lucifer confirm that she pretty much ignored the fuck out of them. Everyone is simply upset because Lilith isn't the mom character they were wanting. They much prefer her to be an evil copy or trap somewhere because clearly their precious Lilith simply can't be that mean. That's also what it boils down to.

For all we know, Lilith could have folded parts of her own story into Eve's role to paint herself more sympathetically or reinforce her status as the victim. It wouldn't be surprising if Eve's portrayal isn't accurate at all. Out of everyone involved, Eve got screwed over the most. We're hearing a story filtered through the people telling it. Lilith has been rocking different hairstyles since the pilot days, but somehow every time they show up the fandom goes, "Clearly this is Eve." Also, in her folklore, *Lilith* is the shapeshifter, not Eve.
