Why can't we have cartoons as great as the DCAU anymore? What's the point of living anymore when the world refuses to make anything good and God has shunted us from His sight to be sacked and enslaved by the Babylonians?

Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes was better

Avengers but it was cancelled because of MCU synergy

Am not you obviously but I like the bag of animated batman content

You got a clusterfuck of factors: dipshit execs, busybody mother's, competition from anime, 9-11, writers strike, Boston, the Sponge, etc...

There is no such thing as “God”.

The budgets and the technical know-how no longer exist.

That was also 15 years ago

The pipeline from cartoon to toy sales no longer exists in the same meaningful way.
>>
>>154259096
No but mainly because it got cut short due to Disney/Marvel's poor decisions to go with way heavier MCU synergy + Loeb/Man of Action involvement. What the fuck were they thinking?

Then why aren't we rebelling against those who say God gave them their power?

>MCU synergy
This really is the worst thing to happen to Marvel shit, isn't it?

It really is. You could argue that the Disney buyout happening at all was the beginning of the end, but letting the MCU supercede the comics was the real nail in the coffin. It even changed the way Disney handled its own IP.

You'd have to ask the staff of WB, but I get the impression in hindsight that Superman, Static and JL were initiatives to help stir interest in the properties the way BTAS did at a time where live action and games were not as feasible or capable.
That all sounds obvious, but what I'm getting at is once the cartoons served that purpose and other avenues opened up WB probably didn't see much reason to keep up high effort animation outside of maintaining a Batman show in some form since he earns decent bread +/- those animated movies. Not really sure the plan with the last one, didn't really seem cohesive or beneficial.

I don't watch Marvel.
