Why did Vader pull her by her feet like he was using a lasso or something?Dude was using the force, just pull her all at once.
We need more cute Jedi girls that aren’t orange nor British.
>>154280529To be fair, it was obvious Fennec was set up to return right from the episode she "died".Kinda insane to consider the whole journey tho, she got gutshot, spent a whole day just face down in the dessert, then Boba finds her, and takes her by fucking Bantha to Mos Eisley, where he finds a rapper that does extremely complex surgery on her, leaver her open, and Boba takes her back to the fucking desert, wouldn't she need a room to recover or something?
Where are all the comic books and real books and animated tv spinoffs that take place after the 2nd death of Palpatine?

We learn Womp rats are edible in BoBF, when Mando kill the one attacking Peli, and she tells the droids to throw it on the grill before it gets gamey. So, the question is, when Luke used to bullseye womp rats in his T-16 back home, would he land, field butcher them, and take the meat home for aunt Beru to cook?
>>154281837They will come. Starfighter is the first major project in that era, and then the gaps will start to be filled
>>154282795Starfighter is a really funny gamble by Lucasfilm, the whole franchise is at it's lowest point after more than a decade of only low points, and they are making a movie set during it's most unpopular era, but beting everything on Goose power carrying it to victory. Can he do it, can Gosling single handedly make this movie a success?
>>154280462>only Boomers hate the prequels >Boomers on 4chan at all
>>154277857>Regardless of how you feel about specific parts of the EU, Disney publicly cutting it out of canon like they did was a sign of what was to come.Disney never cut it out of canon because the EU was never canon to begin with. Saying that the EU was ever part of Star Wars' officially recognized events was always an enormous misunderstanding. What was done with the EU was that it was given a new designation (Legends) and discontinued it, apart from the TOR MMO and Visions.
>>154279082>fires half of the original ILM team out of spite, later destroys their hard work with the special editionsThe special editions existing did nothing like this.>raises a generation of consoomers with landfills of worthless plastic and glorified fanfictionIt's not his fault the audience was too stupid to ignore the EU.>makes horrendous edits to the original beloved trilogy that completely reduces the quality and seemingly removes the original unaltered trilogy from existenceAll of this is false. >>154291600No.
>>154291477There's the deleted Clone Was arc which got animatics.
You can see how lazy Filoni productions are by the props, Mando's IB-94 is just one solid, gun shaped, brick of resin, no moving parts, not even the trigger.Meanwhile, in Andor, the Bryar pistols has moving parts attached to a small electric motor controlled directly in the pistol by Diego Luna, in season 2, the pistol has extending barrel attachments also assembled by the actor himself, meaning they made the whole thing to work exactly as it's seen on scene.
>>154283896>The tragedy of Anakin and Padme is steeped in Shakespearean influenceSo, if I went #2 in a box, hid it under the floorboards and said I was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, that makes me a freakin' genius?

>>154291600There's literally nothing to gain from doing that
>>154292557So, despite the Republic enduring for thousands of years, the people of the outer rim shunned republic credits.By the time The Mandalorian takes place, imperial credits are considered a joke in the outer rim, and mando would rather be paid half the value of his work in Mon Calamari currency, that really should be spent outside their planet, than take imperial credits. But somehow, by the Book of Boba Fett, New republic credits are all over Tatooine, even Mos Espa, where Boba is getting bribed exclusively with it.How did the new Republic manage, in a couple of years, to amke the outer rim use their currency, when the original Republic couldn't in thousands of years?

I want them to try the high republic againGive us a live action series that adapts the first phase, telling the same story as the books but from new perspectives/characters
>>154295679>Give us a live action series*Yawn*Na give us an animated show detailing them dealing with the hyper space disasters.
>>154295775Id happily take an animated series instead desu. I'm just sick of the live action projects refusing to escape from the New Republic era>detailing them dealing with the hyper space disasters.I'm amazed how little people seem to actually know about the High Republic, even when they are discussing it in good faith. The great hyperspace disaster is really just the cold open to the era before things pick up. It is really just the first half of the first book to get things moving. I wouldn't complain about seeing it adapted, but you could do it in like, maybe 2 or 3 episodes
>>154293587old republic and imperial credits are fiat currency, new republic credits are backed by commodities
>>154295885Yeah sorry, I guess I just REALLy want more good space action.Man, when was the last good space battle we’ve gotten? The end of Rouge One?

>>154296021It’s pretty ok for the most part, although it gets carried by the last 20 minutes. So somewhat upper mid.
>>154278888A force sensitive has a Midichlorian count of about 5,000Doing the math gives a force sensitive human around 150,000,000,000,000,000 Midichlorians in their body. The average human is around 67 kg in mass. This gives us an average of 447,000,000,000 cells for every 1 kg of mass. Why does this matter? Well let's look at Yoda.Yoda has a mass of about 13 kg and a Midichlorian count of about 17,700. That means if Yoda has around the same concentration of cells as a Human then he has a total of 5,811,000,000,000 cells in his body giving him a total number of 102,854,700,000,000,000 Midichlorians. That means that Yoda has 30% less Midichlorians than the bare minimum a human is required to have to be force sensitive. But it gets worse.Anakin has a Midichlorian count of 20,000. The single highest count ever recorded. At 84 kg the total amount of Midichlorians in Anakin's body was 750,960,000,000,000,000.Jabba the Hutt's mass is 1,358 kg. That gives him a total of 607,026,000,000,000 cells. If Jabba had an average Midichlorian count of 2,500 he would have over 1,517,570,000,000,000,000 Midichlorians. Twice as many as that of the literal chosen one.Now you might be thinking that it's not raw numbers that matter right? Just concentration. Wrong! The canon has well established that the loss of bodily mass results in a lower overall connection to the force. This is why Anakin became significantly less powerful than Palpatine after having his limbs cut off. The same also occurred with Darth Maul when he was bisected. In the star wars canon Midichlorians counts are all about raw numbers and the math shows that size matters. Sorry Yoda.
New Star Wars racing game on the way, we know Sebulba and Ben Quadinaros are going to be back, but what about him?
>>154295679>>154295885Realistically how long would it take to adapt the High Republic to screen?
>>154296540Yoda's species just uses them better than normal.
>>1542974162 to 3 years if they start after publication to gauge interest.
>>154297512I meant how much screen content would it be?
>>154297603>>154297416The multimedia project is already broken up into 8 arcs, so id say 8 tv seasons would be reasonable if they adapt the eras events straight through without dilly dallying. However the project has so many intersecting plotlines and characters that you could easily double that (or more) depending on what they wanted to adapt
I have no idea why you guys are even speculating about this, there's as much chance of them making more High Republic live action as there is of them making another Mandalorian movie.

>>154300606Gotta imagine they had a monthly stipend, Anakin had toys and a Naboo lamp at his bedroom in the jedi temple.Of course those could be explained as gifts, but we also see him going to eat at a diner because he's "tired of military rations" so he was going to pay for it somehow, although he ends up eating for free that episode.
Palpatine didn't take the dark Saber because well erm, he just didn't ok?Because having command over the mandalorians would've actually been bad for him in a big picture way ok? >>154293793>He just can't help himself, can he?It's amusing that there are people that still think that Dave being in live action was his idea and that he's imposing himself into these shows. It was Favreau's idea. He nagged and nagged Dave to do it when Dave never wanted to in the first place and every time it is done it's because Favreau pushes him into it.
>>154306121Favreau's influence over him has been disastrous. Imagine going from working with George Lucas to the guy who made Cowboys vs Aliens and Lion King live-action remake. Mandalorian has always been simplistic, shallow shit, and Favreau's writing is legitimately awful. And that seeped into everything Filoni's been doing since then. Tragic.

My theory was that the Armorer was Rook kast, since the Ultimate Encyclopedia says the horns or her helmet are a "reminder of her past", meaning she liked served Maul, and Rook Kast name has "cast" in it.But since Rook died, I guess the Armorer was just some background female member of Deathwatch that served Maul when he took over instead of following Bo Katan.
>the andor AK-47 is intentionally designed like that and not just an oversighrwell uhhh the more you know I guess? they should have kept it folded though, looks like a blaster instead of a literal AKand anyone know the photo they could possibly be referencing?
We have to assume Vel and Kleya died at some point between Andor season 2 and the creation of the New republic, right? How else would they allow Mon Mothman to let imperial agents to work freely inside the highest levels of the republic and allow the imperail warlords to not only exist, but actively grow and conquer planets?
>>154316557A quick Google search shows several, so I really would not know which specific one she's referring to
>>154316632probably the first I guess
>>154316557Probably this one.Anyway, the AK is far too iconic to be put in Star Wars without some serious modifications, i get what they were going for, the AK is a weapon of freedom fighters and terrorists, and at this point, the rebellion is both, but they didn't even try to mask it, even a bit.
>>154316095>But since Rook died, I guess the Armorer was just some background female member of Deathwatch that served Maul when he took over instead of following Bo Katan.Doubtful. The Armorer has very likely been raising the kids abandoned by Death Watch (The Children of The Watch) on Concordia since they were discovered by Obi-wan and Satine during the Clone War and fled out of the Mandalore system. The armorer wouldn't have had a chance to serve Maul because she was essentially creating her own faction before DW split between Bo-katan's rebels and Maul's loyalists, so the horns probably are indicative of whatever clan she came from and whatever their signet was.
>>154316557This is so cringe and awful. And retards cheering for it are embarrassing. The embodiment of pic related. It's like if in The Clone Wars when Hondo delivered rocket launchers to the Insurgents, which was an obvious allegory for CIA's Operation Cyclone in Afghanistan, they'd make those rocket launchers to look like literal Stingers. In Andor's case, yeah, we get it. They are rebels. There's no need to give them literal AKs to reinforce the point. Not only it looks awful, but it becomes too on the nose and just embarrassing.
>>154283896>Based Dave has literally never done anything of the sort and has ALWAYS delivered on good content
>>154316557>>154318540it looks better in the concept because they pu a sterling style folding stock on it, in the show they just left a AKMS style underfolder there.Mando did a better job on the blaster rifle the Tatooine sheriff uses, it's based on a PP-19 Vityaz 9mm submachinegun, which is just a pistol caliber AK.But they removed the gasblock and put the barrel in it's place, changing the silhouette of the gun while keeping it recognizable, they also made a custom stock and put a scope liek the one in the rebellion rifles from the battle of Hoth.
>>154319864your retarded post doesn't prove anything and it's embarrassing you thought what you wrote up was worthy of saving

Who the fuck knows, Disney basically refuses to do anyhting set in that Era, I think the last thing they did set in the sequels was a Kylo comic that heavily featured Vader. They really don't want to spend money printing a book or a comic explaining this shit for no one to buy it.
What does Lucasfilm have against Mara Jade? I like Mara Jade and want her back.Is it because her very existance clashes with KK's vision of Luke as a sad loser?
>>154325356Gingers don’t have souls and therefore shouldn’t be force users.
>>154325356As much as Disney likes strong female characters, there's no way they would have one be a wife to a much more famous character.Besides, the sequels made Luke a sexless monk that went to die on an island in Scotland.
>>154325356They know that Jedi shouldn't form attachments and don't want to explain to the Star Wars fanbase why Luke shouldn't be an exception
>>154324038Failed clone body.
>>154325443>Besides, the sequels made Luke a sexless monk that went to die on an island in Scotland.TLJ was just begging for an explanation that Luke became a sad monk in Scotland BECAUSE he lost Mara, just like in the books. But I assume Rian Johnson doesn't even know who Mara Jade is.
>>154325473Luke's Order was supposed to be different. Because being sexless robots is what led to the destruction of the Jedi to begin with. Also, even Obi Wan fucked.
>>154325579I'm hoping they set a romantic interest for Ezra in Ahsoka season 2, can't be Sabine, Filoni already bitched plenty about people shipping them.I have a feeling Ezra will die, so make it rhyme with Kanan dying and let him impregnate an exotic alien chick first.
>>154325623He can always fuck Ahsoka. She's willing.
>>154325579See and Disney knows that explaining to you why your wrong is a fools errand
>>154325356Lucas hated her. He also said that Luke doesn't get married. And he never did in his sequel treatments.>>154325579Jedi are allowed to have sex. Attachments and marriage are not allowed. Lucas said this many times. Luke's order was supposed to be exactly the same, because the Jedi Order was never wrong about the fundamental Jedi philosophy. Luke never married and he was searching for 3-year-olds to train in Lucas's sequel outlines.
>>154283294Unless the movie has a sequence of Rey dying terribly to Darth Talon, I don't give a fuck about Starfighter. Because it has already been confirmed that Rey is in this movie and at this point Rey is a hype killer.
>>154325980Andor made brothels canon and it's basically confirmed clones get horny, so, logically, there should be brothels set up everywhere clone troops would set up a long term base.Hell, there should be brothel ships following republic fleets, like how prostitute caravans would follow marching soldiers and set up camp around their fortresses in the middle ages.
>>154325473>the jedi were flawed and it led to their downfall, Luke's belief in familial love in defiance of the two jedi he knew is proven correct>actually their rules were perfect and Luke kept them 1:1, love is so bad he's doubling down and not even allowing a baby to have friends>actually no the rules were so dumb Yoda commits a bookburning with force lightning, REYLO4LYFEI wouldn't really care if Mara popped up and just never got together with Luke, but the ST's handling of their attachment rules is utter nonsense.
>>154325579>Because being sexless robots is what led to the destruction of the Jedi to begin with.If anakin followed the rules by not forming attachment to padme, none of the bad stuff would've happened
>>154326192And if the jedi were emotionally aware enough to realize leaving the mother of their Chosen One as a slave was not only stupid, but completely morally wrong, non of it would happen either.Having a group of emotionless monks serving as a police force for a whole galaxy and allowing them to make decisions that affect the whole universe is a really bad idea, that's the single thing TLJ Luke got right.
>>154326192Debatable, might've taken a bit longer but Palpatine would've leaned on the anger at his mom dying because of the jedi's negligence instead. His plan wasn't hinging on Anakin getting a girlfriend. What if his sand line bombed?Conversely, if the jedi were less hardline Anakin's problems would've been largely avoided. The Plagueis story would've been less enticing if Yoda had promised some force healers for Padme's birth instead of essentially telling him to get fucked and let her die.
>>154326245>>154326766How can one misunderstand the story this badly? It's baffling. Straight up getting the plot wrong, having the points flying 50ft over your heads. 95% of Star Wars discussions are straight up braindead, because it feels like people don't even pay attention to the story, and instead replace it with some weird-ass headcanon or fanfiction lore-slop.
>>154325356>What does Lucasfilm have against Mara Jade?Nothing. They just don't use her because her story and character doesn't fit with Star Wars. You'd have to heavily retool her to fit, and at that point you might as well have a completely different character. You can't do the whole Emperor's hand because Darth Vader exists as his right hand and enforcer whose purpose is to oversee Sheev's personal interests. And the Inquisitorious exist as the Empire's designated Force sensitive organization and they're kept weak so that they cannot pose a threat to the Sith. And you can't have her be Luke's wife and mother of his children because Jedi cannot get married and start families because duty to serving the public interest and the will of the living force is their life's purpose and would thus entirely conflict with their personal desires. Which you can't have as a Jedi. It's not that they hate her. There's just simply no point in her because the aspects of her that exist in the EU are already canonically filled or don't work within the established setting.
>>154326837You think the point of the story is that Anakin should've been more machine than man?
>>154326245>And if the jedi were emotionally aware enough to realize leaving the mother of their Chosen One as a slave was not only stupid, but completely morally wrong, non of it would happen either. What could they do? The Jedi have jurisdictional limits. They can't just go into foreign space and forcefully take a single woman.>Having a group of emotionless monks serving as a police force for a whole galaxy and allowing them to make decisions that affect the whole universe is a really bad idea, that's the single thing TLJ Luke got right. They're not emotionless. Only people who don't pay attention think that they are. And they don't operate across the whole galaxy, only within the border's of the Republic.
>>154326167>the jedi were flawed and it led to their downfall, What led to their downfall was that the boy that was conceived by the force itself was singularly preyed upon by the most cunning man in the galaxy and fed the boy's hubris and insecurities for 13 years to get him to turn to the Dark Side. The Jedi were never the problem.
