As it became clear that the humans not only disliked his adventures but preferred their own to his, the differences between the AIs came to a head. By 8 Caine gives up on creativity and tries to 'train' the humans like an LLM, punishing them for the wrong output(disliking his adventures, not realizing he is in control). Deletion snapped him out of it. Red excised Blue after finding the internet and understanding that the human's world was so big he'd never really understand it or them.

This is a really dumb little headcanon, but I like to think that after Caine was temporarily deleted, the intro kept playing because Caine had hard baked it as the way to start the day in the circus, but it always gets stuck at the 'day after day' and he has to manually fix it. So the scene where it keeps repeating isn't just to emphasize the point, the characters actually got stuck on the intro for several days until maybe Kinger figured out how to make it stop or it hit a runtime error and just gave up.
I hope one thing everyone understands is that the brainscans after being scanned on the computer were dormant for a while until Caine made the Circus and then used them. C&A employees didn't just scan their brains and immediately get put into the Circus, that only happened a good bit later after the initial scan.

At the beginning i thought this show is about escaping digital prison run by an oppressive AI. The SOMA theory actually occurred to me pretty early on. I also thought this would be heavy on the lore like mascot horror media so the theoryfags had something to feast on.Then in the middle i realized the background lore hardly matters and it's mostly character driven psychological drama. Which i'm fine with but the episodes are running out and most of the characters didn't receive enough of an arc.And then, at the very end whole thing comes to an abrupt halt so Jax can hug most of the spotlight leaving the rest of the cast (aside from Caine) with no resolution pretty much.And off-show i learn that the whole thing was supposed to be about tranny self-insert allegory, which i didn't even pick up on during the viewing.Well at least Pomni was cute...
