Last time we saw the Runaways, they had decided to take down the Pride, their villainous parents who had teamed up with a group of creatures called the Gibborim to cleanse the world. It had turned out that Alex had been a traitor, having learned of everything a year prior and manipulating the others into doing what he needed all so he could prove himself to his parents and take the spots intended for everyone else in the Gibborim's paradise for himself, Nico and their families. But Nico wouldn't go along with it and Alex was killed by the Gibborim. Molly destroyed the item containing the sacrificed girl's soul and the Gibborim and Pride died in the destruction of the Gibborim's lair.With no family around, the group were placed in various forms of foster care but escaped, grabbed their equipment and Old Lace from an Avengers storage facility and took off in order to live their lives the way they wanted.Today is Runaways vol.2 #1-4.Previous >>154479682
