Code Lyoko is serialized and even though you may find comments or posts even on the wiki itself that describe the first season as ''episodic'', that's not really the case and you would be a little confused or lost if your first episode is Code: Earth or False Start for example, even in the first season it's definitely a story that continues with each episode, so, Code Lyoko is serialized and there is an explicit order of the 95 episodes, you don't have to start with the prequel of course, can watch it after you finish the second season before starting with the third season.As you can imagine, there are a few plotholes or inconsistencies in the show, if you can forgive those inconsistencies and some repetition (the animation is recycled especialyl in the first season), it's worth watching. In simple terms, it's a sci-fi action series with some comedy/humor and romance, if you love action like me and also enjoy comedy or humor, Code Lyoko is a great series, I highly recoomend it, the actiong can be very satisfying at times, and depending on who you are or your tastes, the romance or scenes of characters kissing, not to mention fan service that involves both male and female characters, are a bonus or something that complements the series.It's not for everyone of course and the series isn't perfect or has a few flaws, but overall, I like Code Lyoko a lot and in my opinion, it's worth watching.
