Jasper gets gem amnesia so Steven takes it as an opportunity to rewrite her as a Crystal Gem. She'll receive some brief moments where she remembers something but she quickly dismisses them. At some point she regains all her memories and becomes conflicted when she has really come to bond with the Crystal Gems more than she had ever with any other gem.Also, Homeworld should have been at least a whole season of exploration. There was supposed to be a whole story about how different homeworld is in the present compared to when Pink Diamond was around. And I would seriously have Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz come out of Steven's gem in the finale to assume responsibility for the state of the gempire. Steven is not his mom.
