Previously, the Runaways returned to Los Angeles and set up shop in an old beach house in Malibu that the Steins had owned. Realizing that they needed some money, Chase went to apply for a job at a radio station though the DJ, Val Rhymin, seemed to have some sort of mind control abilities as he caused the station manager to stumble off the balcony although he was saved by Klara. But things were still bad as a Majesdanian military group called the Light Brigade came to arrest Karolina and bring her back to what remained of the Majesdanian people. Her parents had revealed the location of Majesdane to the Skrulls in the past and when her and Xavin's wedding went sour Majesdane was complete destroyed.Nico used a "Scatter" spell to teleport the Majesdanians away but it also backfired and affected the group, pushing them away from one another. But the Light Brigade regrouped and returned and the Runaways would need to overcome the spells effects to deal with them.Today is Runaways #5-7.Previous >>154713067

This is the last we'll ever see of Xavin until literally the final issue of Rowell's run. He (and Karolina) aren't in the subsequent miniseries though so it may as well just be a one off.

>>154727451I don't know anything about that, I thought the next series after this was the Rowell series in 2017, ignoring the Battleworld mini which doesn't count.I think Moore's second arc is better than his first but it also feels more like a Defenders kind of story than a Runaways one if that makes sense.
