>>154748194This is by far the worst episode of the revival. Not because the manosphere shit being mocked but because it makes no sense that Hank would go along with it. Like this is something that would be shown at the beginning to show GH needs a better role model and then Hank works to help him out. Also Hank acts out of character, like he has never been shown to be annoyed hanging around kids unless they act obnoxiously and is pretty patient. And whenever it comes to teaching stuff he is always enthusiastic, like the car thing feels like it would have been the first thing he would have tried normally.
As cringe as the A plot with Bill and the Cuddle Therapy nonsense was, I do appreciate that in Bobby's B-plot, he had the balls to call out his mother's general refusal to acknowledge her own mistakes after her interference affected his business because she couldn't get out of her own way. Props to Peggy for not only fixing the damage she caused all on her own, but also for acknowledging and apologizing to Bobby for sabotaging the Thanksgiving turkey he'd made during the show's original run, too. Frankly, I kinda hope that Peggy learns how to be more genuinely humble in later seasons, because that moment was an excellent first step.

Peggy at one point says her mother "powered through menopause on her own" and that actually gives us a pretty coherent explanation of why the two different portrayals of her were so different.
