Who is the best Visions girl?
>>154769595Kara.
It's weird how despite Star Wars being built with dogfighting as a key aspect from day one, there's been very little in the way of notable enemy ace squadrons showing up to add some spice to an engagement. Where's the custom fighters, the snazzy paintjobs, the monikers and banter?>Fel and the 181stBoring.
>>154769595F.
>>154770173Am.
>>154769595Sevn.
>>154770584Well there was Vult Skerris in Rebels, but he flew a normal looking TIE Defender Elite and got taken out by Hera pretty easily despite being shown the be the best pilot the EMpire had.Elrik Voreng had a custom TIE Interceptor called TIE Baron in the Resistence cartoon nobody watched, basically just a red Interceptor with smooth, curved winges instead of the usual, angular ones.
>>154771652>Elrik VorengI remember him, a shame he went out like a bitch, I liked him.
>>154771679Resistance was such a failure that even Filoni hesitates in referencing it, and that fucker loves to bring shit from his cartoons back into live action. There has been one reference to resistance, in Ahsoka, the evil senator that refuses to believe Thrawn is coming back and tries to arrest Hera is the father of the main character of Resistance.Funny that the concept of "Oban Star Racers but in Star Wars" is very cool, but making it so closely related to the sequels killed the show fucking dead.
Dead franchise
>>154771963Part of the problem with Resistance is that it felt like it didn't really know what it wanted to be.It wasn't a racing show, I think there were like 3 races over 2 seasons that actually mattered. It wasn't about the Resistance, Kaz only feels tangentially related to the Resistance for most of the show.I think they wanted a show that started kiddy and grew with its audience like ATLA or Rebels but kinda failed to deliver. Its artstyle also did it no favors. While they may be derivative of Deathtroopers and Purge Troopers I thought the FO Raiders looked cool.Oban Star Racer was pretty cool until the last 6 or so episodes when racing also becomes irrelevent to the plot, though the ending felt satisfying at least.
>>154772037
>>154769595Crane.
>>154772298Fuck, I couldn't find a better version of that image.
>>154769595Chita.
is the Marauder the least impressive "hero ship" in the franchise?it never done anything even remotly impressive, it got heavily damaged by nomal blaster fire, and it get's destroyed completely unceremoniously, no one even cares.Mando cared when the Razor Crest got destroyed.
>>154772237Resistance was genuinely getting good when they cancelled it. God, everyone knows that Star Wars animation usually has trouble with the first season before 'growing the beard' and getting serious. They should've given it a fair chance.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is considered a failure because it flopped and the critics didn't like it, but I think the biggest sign of it's complete failure is the fact that the originals designs from the movie have barely been used since. When was the last time anything Star Wars used a "TIE Brute" or a Patrol Trooper or a Range trooper?Compare that to Rogue One, Deathtroopers are everywhere, shortroopers show up once in a while, the U-Wing is now more famous than the A and B-wings, even the TIE Reaper has shown up in the Jedi games.Even in the Mando movie, where there was a perfect opportunity for Rangetroopers on the snow planet, all we see is stock snowtroopers, some without their veil thingy, and a shoretrooper painted white.
>>154774738Every project that is planned to have a certain number of seasons should have them all greenlit at once. I'm sick of shit being cut short because a Star Wars project, (the same Star Wars that made us sit through the first season of Rebels and the first like, 3 seasons of The Clone Wars), took time to find its footing. Either give us the story that's intended to be told, or literally don't bother.
not too fond of tales not telling us when episodes take place
>>154775301Looking at Acolyte specifically
>>154775116I guess it doesn’t need to be the same color since it’s usually covered up by the cloth. It just looks wrong and doesn’t fit.
>>154776950I was upset the Swtor designers gave us this set instead of more high quality veiled trooper. I blamed them for this weird design instead of getting a cool helmet.
Embo should've died, the most interesting thing they can do with him now is kill him, and doing it in a movie would be the best possible medium for his death.
>>154778097At this point what can kill Mr invincible armor man? Djin is too powerful.
>>154778237>At this point what can kill Mr invincible armor man? From what we saw, explosions, cyborg vampires and snake dragon venom are his only weaknesses.
I'm thinking of doing a horror star wars campaign set in the unknown galaxy. Give me some suggestions for creepy shit I could use.
>>154779572Star Weirds are a must
>>154779572A Hutt rapist with a stealth generator
>>154779572>>154779572Make Kathleen Kennedy abelloth and JJ Abrams a kowalkian monkey lizard.
Rukh in the old EU was basically an unbeatable assassin that in the end turns on and kills Thrawn.Rukh in Disney canon is a retarded loser that constantly fails, get's beaten up by fucking Morgan Elsbeth, fails a dozen times over to kill or capture the Ghost crew and then get's kille by Garazeb "Prince of all lasats"Orrelios, a guy that existed solely to job so we could see that the enemies that kicked his ass were actual threats.
>>154772037I fucking wish.
she'll get her own show soon.
>>154781232She already had her own show
>>154780510So... Disney made him better then. Because from your description EU Rukh sounds lame as fuck.
>>154781665Thrawn doesn’t job so much in the original books and was an actual threat not Elon musk painted blue. He overlooks the empire not actually fixing Honoghr so Rukh realizes he has been Jewed and stabs him in the back.
>>154781869>Thrawn doesn’t job so much in the original booksHe doesn't job in Rebels. He only genuinely lost twice in the show. Everything else was very deliberately calculated gauging of the Rebels' strengths. That's not even a cope that a very obvious narrative point as the show was going on.>He overlooks the empire not actually fixing Honoghr so Rukh realizes he has been Jewed and stabs him in the back. That doesn't make your earlier description sound better. He still sounds cringe. His Star Wars counterpart comes off better because he's a villain flunky who gets his comeuppance. Which is very George coded because he always had badguys get what they deserve before the end. So Rukh's end is very unsurprising considering Dave learned from George. Also a bonus because Rukh got voiced by Warwick Davis.
>>154782070I like using noghori units in forces of corruption. Yes they are cringe since they worship Vader and call Leia lady Vader but at the same time it was cool that the empire had this race of deadly dopes they use for wet work and other shady shit.
>>154782070>He still sounds cringe. His Star Wars counterpart comes off better because he's a villain flunky who gets his comeuppanceThe entire rebels cast was cringe barring Vader, Yularen, and Obi wan/Ahsoka. It definitely was a downgrade from clone wars.
>>154779572Fighting swarms of nocturnal monsters like in Pitch Black. That's pretty much it. You can set in in a giant system of underground caverns for that extra fear factor.Trying to escape from a tribe of primitive but vicious alien cannibals and their insane leader who - like players - is also an outsider.Being kidnapped and hunted for sport on some remote planet or alternatively being kidnapped, implanted with bombs like slaves and forced to take part in a weird sadistic game in some purposely build complex.Haunted house but it's a ship with experimental hyperdrive that was flung into some kind of a dimension or pocket space and came back changed. Alternatively players could be guests at some facility and during a routine experiment there's some dimensional break like in Half-Life. Suddenly everything is overrun by hostile alien life.Serial killer (or killers) situation on a remote outpost where everything that can go wrong goes wrong (comms down, grounded ships etc.)That's all I've got for now.
I have a feeling that Disney/Lucasfilm will asspull the Skywalkers back into existence as. sort of course correction and due to fan demand, whether they bring back Ben, give Ben and Luke bastard children with random women or say that Am and Karre from The Twins are cloned from Luke's hand.
>>154784568If they make a canon version of The Twins, I can see that happening, also, superhuman Skywalkers who can survive the vacuum of space is so retarded but also so fun.
>>154784568Or they'll just do a Legends project since they're still selling merch for Legends characters.
>>154779572I'm pretty sure it's actually canon that there may be some derelict ships containing hordes of undead troopers just floating out there in the far reaches of space.
>>154781641nah thats tales, although you can argue it was a 45 minute special split into 3 episodes
zayne carrick
>>154785499So did he die before KOTOR or...?
>>154785542No, but he did get famous enough that the Republic named their fleet station after him by the time of SWTOR.
>>154785499great comic
>>154785542Too busy pumping kids into Jarael to help Revan or the exile.
>>154784071>Fighting swarms of nocturnal monsters like in Pitch BlackI think there's an episode of The Bad Batch like that.
>>154781232Waste of resources. Her story is already told.
Lucasfilm reiterated the current eras yesterday.
>>154784568All they need to do is fucking start re-canonizing Legends and pretend the sequels never happened, by doing the easiest fucking thing: nothing. Never mention them ever again. It’s THAT easy to course correct.
People are weirdly hyperbolic about the sequels.
>>154788151You noticed?
>>154789188Just pointing out the obvious.
Ass hole ka tit-oh
>>154788151I think letting George play a part in the writers room might have shielded them from some criticism and kept the autistic touch needed to make the stories magical. He’s the beloved still living creator his input should always have a place in Star Wars. Also his deal to get paid when his characters show up on screen definitely let yidsney go hogwild with a glupshitto fest.
>>154770584>Where's the custom fighters, the snazzy paintjobs, the monikers and banter? The Empire's whole thing is conformity/uniformity, it would be pretty bizarre if they started allowing that kind of stuff. Vader's custom TIE fighter is barely any different looking than the rest, and he's second-in-command of the whole operation
>>154787975>New Jedi OrderIt's a perfectly understandable name but part of me really hates that they're calling it that
>>154785542theres a theory that he turns into darth nihilus from kotor 2 but I dont really see how that would work
>>154790908It's almost certainly going to be the grysks or vong
>>154788113They can't re-canonize Legends because the EU was literally never canon.
>>154785499When I was reading I always heard him with Vergil’s voice from DMC 3
>>154784568The guys name in Starfighter is literally Cade. And even if that doesn't go anywhere, lucasfilm is currently fighting Disney to get Hunt for Ben Solo made
>>154791661>lucasfilm is currently fighting Disney to get Hunt for Ben Solo madeLet's hope it actually goes somewhere.
>>154791661>>154791860I'm actually hoping Starfighter flops hard so they can bury the sequels era for good.Either move into the far past or far future.
>>154779591Thanks for that. Didn't know about those and those will definitely be encountered. The ship might breakdown right in middle of nowhere in space and the party has to repair the ship outside. And then the force user feels something wrong in the force and that's when they encounter the star weird.
>>154792205It's outside of the sequel era, and you would be a retard for hoping for any project to flop when it's already so hard to get ANYTHING to finally get released The reason the entire live action TV roadmap is entirely New Republic Era is because of people rooting for the Acolyte to end, and now that same stagnation is bleeding into everything else. The franchise is worse because of people like you.
>>154788151Hyperbolic and retarded.
>>154788151I've still only seen the first one, haven't watched any of the other Disney-era films either desu
>>154765829Ryan Gosling will make more kino like he always does.
>>154794514Gosling is good, but he can hardly save a movie on his own, case in point.
>>154766827Post one
>>154766827>>154796466I've heard is sideways
starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jadru Jadru is Cute make her star wars canon
How would you asspull the Skywalkers back into existence? Palpatine's bloodline winning and usurping the name just feels wrong.
>>154799007It's easy to write on Luke or Ben having impregnated some chick at some point, or cloning.
>>154790853Yeah which is why I'm tired of the fucking Empire.
is there any kind of interview etc during rebels of filoni or someone describing ahsoka's "power level"?they did it with the grand inquisitor, want to know if theres one for ahsoka too
I just want more Andor spinoffs by the same writers of that show.
>>154800774Who could even lead an spinoff, Kino Loy, maybe Andor's girlfriend? I can't believe this woman was in MorbiusBut jokes aside, since Filoni and Fraveau decided that the New Republic will just be filled to the brim with imperial infiltrators, a show about Kleya hunting and killing them would be cool.
>>154797454nah
>>154800774I want them to write an Old Republic political drama
>>154802508Which era? Old republic is pretty broad.
>>154780510>Rukh in the old EU was basically an unbeatable assassin that in the end turns on and kills Thrawn.I don't disagree with what you're saying, but Rukh got killed basically immediately after shanking Thrawn.
>>154803955Yeah, still quite pivotal
>>154801037>>154802508Doesn't have to be a character spinoff but I would have really liked to see how the show would have explored the Sith Cult side of the Empire through its grounded lens. The ideological roots and historical context from previous Sith empires, characters like Palpatine's advisors, Veris Hydan, and Vanee, research into the Force framed as creepy mysticism and occultism, and how the rest of the Imperial hierarchy felt about them. I feel we could have gotten this if Andor had run for five seasons as originally intended.
>>154807548>I would have really liked to see how the show would have explored the Sith Cult side of the Empire through its grounded lens. There wasn't one. We already know that Sheev being a THE Dark Lord of The Sith was known only to Vader and Ameda. Anyone else in Sheev's inner circle barely even suspected that he might've been Force Sensitive, nevermind a monster from galactic mythology. Anyone else who saw Sheev's interest in Force shit basically thought the same as Sloane did in that he was just a powerful ruler and those types weren't above having eccentric interests/hobbies. Sheev being Darth Sidious was his most well guarded secret. His entire rule depended on nobody knowing.
>>154807699He had exegol cultists at least as far back as ESBObviously you're right that nobody in the empire actually knew the truth, but he DID have a sith cult very early on
>>154807941>He had exegol cultists at least as far back as ESBYes, but they were separate from the Empire. Although this was more to explain why they weren't part of the First Order and why they came out of nowhere for TRoS.
>>154807548>>154807941This shit really should be avoided altogether, the further Star Wars gets from "somehow, Palpatine returned" the better.
>>154808924You don't need to go into Project Necromancer for that. I would have liked to see the Sith Temple underneath Coruscant instead for example.
>>154765963You're husband is a pedo grooming padawans
>>154809287That doesn't make sense. He has no genitals.
>>154809702If he has robotic legs capable of feeling pain then he can have a robotic dick capable of feeling pleasure.
I subscribe strongly to the belief that jawas are little rodent-men.
>>154765829SW is highly satanic because it promotes the false religion of Buddhism
>>154808924Honestly it's grown on me at this point
>>154812295It's fine if it was some nod to Dark Empire, I just don't like that Palpatine actually did come back.
>>154809702You can groom kids without sexual intent.
>>154812308I'm torn because on one hand I don't like Vaders sacrifice being undermined, but on the other hand I love the concept of things coming full circle back to Palpatines intention to cheat death. Now being used to project necromancer, the concept of Palpatine simply letting himself die seems quaint
>>154811783>it's canon that Peli Motto fucks this
>>154813232What's wrong with fucking Jawas?
>>154813857
>>154813068>the concept of Palpatine simply letting himself die seems quaintI've thought this since reading Dark Empire as a kid, and was surprised to see people upset that he was back in ep9

Kathleen kennedy's takeover of the franchise was orchestrated by God to punish every fan that harassed young anakin and jar jar binks's actors to suicide.
>>154818466Do you think Dave can undo her 14 year long systematic attempt to destroy the franchise?

>>154818466>Excise false fans and undesirables by making Star award uninhabitable to their kind>Punish those who harassed the actors and creators by removing their entertainment >True fans remain in the hopes it’ll get better, or by enjoying what they have based God. a well executed plan!
>>154818466Well yeah, George Lucas put her in charge.
>>154820374>Excise false fans and undesirables by making Star award uninhabitable to their kindI dunno if that's entirely true. EUtists are still a lingering pest yet to be purged.
>>154815565Yes and no. My assumption is that it's inspired by both Satele Shan's lightsaber, and the basic lightsaber you get as a Jedi class, both of which are from Swtor.

The director of The Ninth Jedi is hoping to make more seasons, so fingers crossed. I'm one of the only people that doesn't want a The Duel series.
>>154824638I see no point in making "non-canon" content for the franchise.
>>154824791It's set so far forward from the movies that they might as well make it canon in the future.
>>154824638>I'm one of the only people that doesn't want a The Duel seriesSeconded, unless they remove the novel that made the Ronin a fag from The Duel's canon.
>>154824791Happy to see I'm not the only one who thinks this. Normal Visions seasons are one thing, since I see the benefit of giving full creative control to the directors of stylized short films, but doing a big episodic series that isn't even set within the Star Wars universe feels like a waste of resources.
>>154824791Eh, I'm interested. Be nice to play with scenarios that aren't viable in the mainline universe.
>>154825073Hell, they can even do Legends projects at some point.
