You introduce an outside threat, you're turning the show into an epic mystery with high stakes. You introduce new humans, you run the risk of repeating old plot points. You make it about un-abstraction, you're basically asking fans to sit around for another three years so that they can see Jax again. And if Jax unabstracts, he's going to transition. Glitch isn't dumb enough to think that they can ignore that.The safest bet is a midquel like C. Each episode is self-contained, they can do adventures and explore dynamics we didn't get to see, Jax can be there, lots of opportunities for merch. Episodes can be released whenever because there's no ongoing plot. If I were Glitch that's what I'd do.
