>>84460644>anyways it eventually ends up being used as a medical device, not for consumers, esp cuz pricey af, and they start using it to brainscan people that have a terminal illness or a injury that has pretty low chances of living so its used as a backup for them in hopes that eventually that files will be used to be transfered into on a new body, (or robot if we going full chappie), ofc at sum point sum of these devices end up falling in the hands of sum healthy ppl, just to find out that while the VR works and stuff, the moment they take the Headset off, the brainscan is conscious, they werent aware of that, so like if they tried to put it again the headset will lock itself to prevent another brainscan or (god knows, the brainscan consciousness being disabled and the player being used like a puppet), so u can expect theres a damn lot of ppl there, someone that died irl, someone that managed to recover from their injuries and the curious ones that get called as "kitties" oh, and theres the ones before it started to became used as medical device, (Those Who Came Before) nobody knows where they are, someone say they abstracted cuz the VR still had flaws and legacy code from back then, they prob are years away from distance from the default brainscan spawn point, but at least someone can try to reach to them right? they are immortals after all, its not like they will die of aging or starvation while looking for them.
