It’s an exercise in him using his fiction to advance his social standing with his abusive readers; in all likelihood, it was written as a sales pitch of self-reformation to his past or current wife, and it didn’t actually succeed in convincing his detractors anyway. It’s so full of bullshit and pandering that is so obviously antithetical to Andrew’s actual character that it infuriates me just to think about what circumstances could have driven him to think making it was necessary. Imagine if Andrew woke up one day and decided to make Sweet Bro And Hella Jeff as an unironic attempt to make a Penny Arcade fancomic. Guys I an idea for a space opera AU and I want your thoughtsSo it's called Spacestuck and it's about the four kids John, Rose, Dave, and Jade playing the game NTION developed by the same people behinf the canceled SBURB.It's a cross between Age of Empire, Simcity and Sim Earth where you dictate the direction of your consort civilization on a planet know as the battlefield.Mechanics include creating an army to finding off imp hordes and gather grist, which can be used to terraform, build and create resources for your consorts.You also have to contend with NPC faction with which you can trade for resources in boon dollars, such as Prospit, Derse, and the twelve merchant tribes of leprechauns (based on the twelve aspects)Of course Derse are your enemies and will sabotage you in achieving your ultimate goal, which is to have your consorts build an ark for an exodus to the players land.The amount of grist needed for can only be realistically acquired by the Denzin a deity to your civilization who you need to appease to keep them from sending natural disasters. You can either fulfill it’s tasks or fight it with a consort army to gather it’s grist horde.John and his friends play the game as normal, when one day the Alternate Empire comes to conquer earth and each of their guardians reveal the truth behind NTION.
