Why were all the non-Spiderman characters in this film so good? Jean was obviously the standout but Peter and Frank's dynamic was amazing as well, and Yelena was a lot of fun for being a glorified cameo. The Hulk in particular had his best showing in years. I felt genuinely bad seeing Banner rambling when they were loading him into the ambulance. Felt like watching your grandpa with alzheimer's get wheeled off to the home. The existing characters(MJ and Ned) were honestly the weakest part.
