I don't speak for anyone else here but myself... I like the songs, they're cute and catchy. It's a good brain numbing show, something you have in the background. If you're into fanfiction or role-playing, because the world building is so lackluster, there is a lot you can build on. I've been on the Viv train since around 2014. Massive fucking difference in what we got vs what we expected. For one, people put an emphasis on the Hotel instead of Heaven/Vees. I do mourn the vibes of the pilot era. Despite the show debuting in 2024, the comfy era died when the actors got sacked. I can not overstate how much the pilot crew seemed like such a little family and now they're practically strangers on cordial, professional terms. Ashley and Michael in particular stand out to me. The 2 were dating then and Michael took the loss hard. He wanted to remain as Angel, would even drop serious cash to join the union but Viv lied through her teeth to the fans why the recast happened. Those pilot angst fanarts are cheapened by canon. The pilot fandom idea was that she was forever separated from her friends because she was a demon, like her true nature physically made it impossible for her to enter Heaven at all. If someone got redeemed, that was it, she could never see them again. The finality of losing her friends hurt, but it was either keeping them around for her sake or doing what was best for them in the long run. It was a bittersweet dillema. But then again, Heaven was this far off concept that people saw as inaccessible. Pilot fans sure as fuck didn't know what to think of what Heaven would be. The Cherub episode was the closest thing we had. Charlie confirmed to be able to enter Heaven and it retroactively makes that fanart as less deep. "Don't worry, you can set up a portal or face time them, no need to cry". It's less compelling for her. As for the exterminators, my memory was fuzzy but I don't see Roo being the person controlling them. Sera being who she was alluding to makes more sense given what we have seen so far. Or maybe she was nudging towards Speaker (I'm convinced Speaker will be super important in the future)

And yeah, it's very obvious the Speaker has something to do with Good - especially if Good IS the Abrahamic God in this universe. As for the pilot speculations I felt the exterminations were vestigial from the angels and demons arc and were an excuse to have sinners want redemption instead of staying in hell. Betting necessities taken for the first season changed trajectory a lot. Like giving the season a satisfying end battle inadvertently gave heaven a lot of unplanned focus and with pentious being the first redeemed changed Angel's role. No real comment on shipping due to not being versed in the topic but I dont think any radioship woukd sail due to Alastors prominent asexuality. As for the Vees I am betting they were originally the 7 deadly sins going by the pitch bible leak and were assigned those roles as the other rings of hell were given to helluva boss.

Hopefully this is just early installme t weirdness due to fitting everything in what was just a single season and the Vee stuff in season 2 was a buffer or much needed setup to rebuild the original plot that was dismantled in season 1.

Basically the more wholesome take on a same sex couple and would have contrasted with the more campy slutty gays shown in hell. Basically showing it isnt strictly being same sex that gets you sent to hell but the frivolous promiscuity characterized by the sin of lust.

Curious to how Heaven and the angels developed. From what I can comprehend the original angels and demons arc just had them as an equal faction comprised of human souls turned angels (winners) who thought they were doing good. Then the pilot turned them from individuals into a drone army (exorcists) who were culling overpopulation, and the proper series where they are conditioned soldiers who use the overpopulation excuse to have fun killing the lesser dead.

And from there I assume they genderswapped A&D's head angel Adina into adam, and I guess Gabriel into lute, separated adinas motivations so Adam got her sincere belief in doing the right thing and lute got her zealous bloodlust. Then i guess A24 felt a serious adam was "too real" and toned him some ways to make him a fratboy who gets off on killing the less dead which in turn made lute the serious one who wholeheartedly believes sinners deserve oblivion.

The show itself already revealed very big things you are overlooking.
Winners and redeemed sinners lack Roo’s presence entirely. And Heaven never tries to reclaim Lucifer, their most prized seraphim, or sinners so it’s too out-of-character for them to take Eve at all. There is no good route for Eve to become Lute by these two immense issues that still linger.

Eden is not the end all and be all, and heaven is a place that is heavily against evil where as Hell rewards evil. Evil and Good cannot be swapped here cause there is nothing about hell suggesting any kind of virtues and order.

I think in this very thread we got confirmation of big lore dealing with Vaggi in season 3 so that question may soon be answered. As we saw in the council in season 2 the other 7-8 choirs of angels were accounted for so I have to assume viv recognized the similarity between the Powers (6th choir) and the exorcists. But then again they are so boringly human compared to the nature fairy virtues the many eyed thrones and the celestial dominion ect. Yes, there's two distinct figures that were apparently appointed the leaders of Heaven, and there seemed clearly in the pilot, people just don't really talk about them because they assume it's the same figure. It's not. One appears with the lieutenant, and then it switches to Lucifer, and there's a similar looking figure, the one that looks more like a goat and a flat face, thinner than the dragon, but similar horns.

Personally, I don't think they're going for that route, if they ever were. Seems like Overkill for both women to leave because Adam was that much of a piece of shit. I mean, I wouldn't necessarily mind it. But, with a character like Adam, it would have been so easy for him to have talked shit, and the show has subtly told us that he was fond of Eve at least.

Personally, I think that Lilith just dead ass did not like this guy, did not want to marry him, no particular reason, she just... Just... Not attracted to him, and she blew things out of proportion, made it seem worse than it had to be so she could paint herself as justified.

Eh I think I misspoke regarding eve. Like to my understanding of the lillith lore she was equal by being made at the same time from the same substance with the same proncess and in turn eve was made from adam and therefor she is his lesser or subordinate as he is her superior. Or something. For hazbin I am assuming adam and lillith are supposed to be equals including egos and thus are toxic masculinity and toxic femininity. My current reading is that they were both made equal, from the same materials and everything. Lilith just didn't want anything to do with him and booked it. Her by leaving implies to me that she had free will because as we see later, she wasn't even punished for that, so it apparently was not a problem. Which leads me to think okay, Adam also had free will meaning, as the first of their kind, they both were made without lacking anything. They were perfect. If you rearrange the lyrics to fit Cherri and Sir Pentious an unnamed character appears that mocks Cherri saying that Sir Pentious is hers now. This character is probably Niffty because her and Sir Pentious are implied to be close/have things in common and there might be an arc where Pentious uses Niffty as a replacement Cherri.

It's not because of RA, it's because Lucifer is his biggest stepping stone/mechanism to becoming a serious antagonist and that's been obvious since season 1. If RA is happening it's because the opportunity presented itself for Viv to make a ship she loves canon because they're already interacting significantly for plot reasons.
