The success of the show is irrelevant because Goose and Glitch don't follow the general nigh-law of physics tier flowchart for success, and this show was getting its 9 eps either way. I think about the setting of the show a lot. Like what I would do during a given adventure or whatever. The issue is I really hate the idea of self inserting and having a perfect body compare to everyone else. Issue is if you bring in too many of the flaws into the design you might overdo it. The setting itself lack any kind of default or standard to base yourself off with maybe the exception of Kinger and maybe Ragatha and even then Kinger is a chess piece with floating hands and you can argue Ragatha being a ragdoll is linked to her own issues. So whenever I casually daydream what I would had done I just kinda assume I would at least be mannequin-like in shape/height/limbs. For the sake of the daydream it works well enough. I'm legitimately curious how other people see themselves if they ever imagine how they would be in the circus. Do you Mary Sue the perfect OC, do you literally self insert as you are or do you kind of do a blank humanoid like I do?

For OC purposes is the way Characters look an involuntary/automatic thing that is supposed to represent some sort of esoteric symbolic meaning (even if it makes very little logical sense) about the person themselves vaguely in the theme of a circus? Or along with suppressing names did Caine exert control over the look of the avatars? It doesn't seem like he actually did, or it doesn't make a lot of sense if he did for why he chose the looks of people. Would new arrivals still have a weird random look? Could existing characters look different if they wanted to?
