That's right - you've been such good little Anons that you're getting an extra chapter today AND tomorrow! Aren't you lucky?
Modesty and Willie are free and armed, but can they come out unscathed?Find out tomorrow, in the thrilling conclusion!
Cheers OP.
>>155671016So generous, OP!
Incidentally, I've done a bit more research and the novel OP is posting has a rather fascinating history... There was a Modesty Blaise movie released in 1966 starring Terence Stamp as Willie, and it was bloody awful. O'Donnell wrote the original script, and he later claimed that the studios fucked his script up so badly that they kept one line of his dialogue. He clearly saw the writing on the wall, and managed to get his original script turned into a novel, ostensibly to help market the film. It clearly did a lot better, as O'Donnell managed to keep writing Modesty Blaise novels and short story anthologies until 1996, and the film barely managed to break even and has 50% on Rotten Tomatoes.
So, to summarise, what I am currently posting is a graphic novel based off a novel that was originally a script for a movie, based off a comic strip.
