There is no big cultural agenda driven by profits and politics to shape thighs that much there so people just draw really unique and high quality art of western media that they like without much interest in how it's viewed in the west. This is probably why a large portion of East Slavic fandom art from stuff like Deltarune, the Vivzieverse, and a bunch of other popular western shit is of higher quality.
