OK!!!! PROSPITCEST REREAD 800-1000 IS A GO. This block of pages was PACKED TO THE GILLS. And it is very sweet that the last page i read was a john and jade interaction, very sweet indeed. But lets get to the meat of this retrospective. Hussie is going FULL FORCE with his foreshadowing and teasing for future developments, both dream kingdoms have made their visual debuts, though prospit is still only viewed in the lense of Jade's room, while derse is seen in full gothic glory. Meanwhile Rose is busy trying not to die and discovering the secrets of "Ectobiology" a concept which of course becomes way more important later on. I would like to highlight Mom/Roxy's weird arrested development in regards to her little girls room she has in her lab. Of course this has to do with how she is for the most part, trying to play the character of a housewife/mother/woman in general (this isn't me going on to say she is trans, but that this is a theme for Roxy and rose, dealing with femininity as a nebulous concept). It is just interesting that Rose is forced to confront her mother as a multifaceted and complicated person while also seeing something as ridiculous as a hot pink tea set. Other than that, we get a karkat pesterlog, hes a dickhead, and John rapidly ascends the echeladder and becomes more adept in the weird world of sburb. And also Dave is getting his ass handed to him on a silver platter. uhhhh other than that not much to say, check out the notes and if you have any comments feel free. I love to talk about it :D
