I've sent an email to the producers asking for Katherine's hand in marriage.
I can see that our enthusiasm is starting to die down and discussion is starting to wane so I suspect this will either be the last thread or we’ll be on it soon but I’m glad we lasted long enough to see season 3 confirmed. I don’t think momentum is going to slow down with this show, so fingers crossed, we get more seasons even beyond 3 at least. We’re already doing better than most when it comes to Netflix. I barely come to this shithole board anymore and usually actively avoid it but it’s nice to see that some decent threads are still possible.

Just finished up my binge watch. I have to say, the animation in season 2 is genuinely impressive from a technical standpoint: everything flows together so smoothly, and that one fight scene between Dante and Death was so well choreographed and kinetic despite its short length, such eye candy all around. It’s hard to believe this was the same show from season 1 (not that season 1 was lacking in this department but they REALLY dialed it up to 11). I take it this is a sign they’ve been allotted a bigger budget due to the success of the first season and it seems like the trend will only continue from here. That all being said, great season. Only complaint is its length. 8 episodes was criminal considering the length of time we’ve waited.

(5, 8 and 4 seasons respectively, though to be perfectly frank I have my suspicions that all of these productions had favors called in for them behind the scenes rather than them seeing organic success). Inside Job is a weird outlier as best as I can remember because most are usually smothered in the cradle after one season, so them cancelling it on season 2 is something of a head scratcher to this day.In the absolute worst case scenario, you end up with something like Captain Fall, where you get one season and then get cancelled on a massive cliffhanger because you had an absurd amount of confidence that you would get one for whatever reason after having more episodes than would be aired ordered ahead of time and having it made clear the series would be split into two parts and then… that actually doesn’t happen because it failed to meet their voodoo quota, so those remaining episodes that you ordered to make and had ready to go get fully scrapped and never see the light of day, leaving your story forever unfinished. A crazy bullet we thankfully dodged, thank god, would have hated to see this show end up like that.
