Why does the shy robot cry?
These were posted in the last thread, but I feel they're important enough to repost here too. >Aki>A gentle, timid android girl with low self-esteem.>Rolled out earliest among the three, is the tallest, and has the most voluptuous figure.>Quick to cry, easily frightened, and very sensitive. >Has a deep-seated inferority complex towards humans, and intentionally adopts the habits of an introverted human, such as hiding her eyes with her bangs and keep her gaze towards the ground. >Ac cutely aware of her own clumsiness, frequently getting into accidents and breaking things, including herself. >Wears her hair in a ponytail if it bothers her.
>Kotomi>The second of the android girls, rolled out after Aki.>Has a habit for self-harm and a troubled disposition. Often depressed. >Highly dependent on humans (especially her owner) and prone to jealousy. Aware of her own attractiveness and derives her identity from maintaining superficial relationships with multiple people.>Due to this personality, she is often targeted my malicious people. >Carries some trauma due to this, which contributes to her tendency towards self-harm.
>Sui>The latest model android, rolled out last of the three. >Small and delicate, yet bright and energetic. >Excessive positivity causes her to lack social skills, leading others to quickly figure out she's an android. For better or for worse, she's treated like a peace of junk.>Passionate about band activities. Plays a hand-me-down electric guitar. She's terrible at it with no sign of improvement; her model isn't built to skillfully handle stringed instruments to begin with.>Wears a hoodie from her personal wardrobe to school, breaking regulations. >YAMAHA REVSTER>She plays guitar and sings, but for some reason only picks Showa-era pop songs. (And she's terrible at it)

>>11402174At least it isn't showing a robot girl in distress in the op this time but AI slop is kind of an eyesore and no other images were posted. The girl does look pretty cute ngl
>>11402354it took 68 days for the old thread to reach bump limit with 172 images, and your reactionary remake doesn't even ban ai, not checking the catalog first then pulling arbitrary retroactive justifications out your arse to claim superiority is way more of an eyesore than just posting to the existing thread but calling OP lazy. but good for you i guess. if you're lucky, maybe mods will delete the first thread for being a request outside of /r/, but it's not likely
Struck a nerve even, cool
>>11402137>She told her ningen friend that she is actually a robot, as she lifted her skirt to show him her artificial body.>She's unaware that the ningen in question has a massive boner for robot girls, he got so sexually aroused by the sight he ended up ejaculating all over the robutt's crotch before she could even process what was going on.>Her low self-esteem led her to fear that the ningen would react in disgust towards her being a robot. so she is both blushing and crying as her AI struggles to comprehend what just happened and whether she should be grossed out about the uncontrollable libido of the ningen or if she should feel happy over being seen as highly desirable woman by her ningen friend
>>11402288>I showed you my hip servos please respond
>>11402361I wasn't looking to start a fight, and still aren't, but we've gotta have some standards here. A sleepy thread is no excuse for a sloppy thread.
>>11402401I didn't even register that that could be seen as jizz. Show some tact, ningen. That might be her bio-skin melting. It apparently does that.
>>11402463I appreciate the nitty-gritty details. Not that I can read them...
>>11402463I see, the cum caused the bio-skin to melt. Ningen should control himself in that case to avoid hurting the cute robutt.
>>11402498Your cute robo-girl's skin being weak to jizz seems like a pretty serious design flaw.
>>11402517Maybe it is the ningen's fault cuz he felt for some virility scam and now his cum can damage machines. One way or another, ejaculating over her crotch all of a sudden is absolutely rude, the ningen should've hold hands with her first and princess-carry her to his bedroom.

>>11402556For me it's the eyes, that "Ugh, a ningen..." look. It's impressive how much disdain she can express with just her eyes and body language.

I'd as a robot out to go bird watching at the park or something. I'll bring a rain coat and umbrella for her if it rains.

I did not know birds would bring trauma to robots.
I have no idea who this is.
>>11404128Character is Ineffa from Genshin ImpactThe pic itself was made by クラーケンバイオhttps://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/134074075
I've been intrigued by this concept since I first tried playing Nikke. What do you guys think of the idea of robot gfs being superhuman (built like terminators), subhuman (legally property instead of people), or both at the same time?
>>11404657>second pic because I couldn't make up my mindBoth are from @era_sub on twitter
>>11404657Oh, these girls actually are robots? Okay, good.>What do you guys think of the idea of robot gfs being superhuman (built like terminators), subhuman (legally property instead of people), or both at the same time?By "built like terminators" do you mean extra-durable or super strong? They're not necessarily the same thing. I'm down with all three regardless, though. It brings a sort of gap moe to the table, causes a lot more friction between them and humans, and opens more variety in their interactions than when robo-waifus just being ordinary people.
>>11404657Also that's really small. Do you have it hard translated by full sized?
>>11404660They're human brains in artificial bodies, so technically cyborgs, I guess. Super strength and endurance, don't need food, etc. Sadly, the game seems to have lost interest in really exploring that angle - everyone seems basically human now.>>11404661I got the TL from a reddit post, and that seems to be how the translator posted it :/
>>11404681Oh. That's a lot worse, but whatever. >Sadly, the game seems to have lost interest in really exploring that angle - everyone seems basically human now. That's usually how these things go. The dolls in GFL2 being so fleshy and wiggly disgusts me.
>>11404657I like how those mass-produced Nikke look a lot but I haven't played Nikke since I feel like it is going to disappoint me.Seems to be another one of those "we have robot girls, play our game!" but in actuality most girls that are important to the plot are 100% human in looks and behavior, except when the story needs to get extra grimderp and miserable. It also seems to have that "the actual robot girls are evil" bullshit with how the badgirls seem to have more robotic designs than the heroines. Pic related gets beaten pretty badly if I'm not mistaken and she is one of the few girls that look like a robot girl imo, although she seems to be getting some redemption arc or something so that's might be good? Can never claim victory too early with villainesses getting a redemption arc though. It doesn't seem to be anywhere near as bad as GFL, making you massacre sexy robot girls and cute spooky cyborg by the millions like nothing, so there's that. But yeah, the mass-produced Nikke get the headpats.
>>11404740Also posting this cuz metal tail + fat booty is a powerful combination.
>>11404740>It doesn't seem to be anywhere near as bad as GFL, making you massacre sexy robot girls and cute spooky cyborg by the millions like nothing, so there's that.I'm still mad about how they treated the nytos. The generic ones, I mean. Had ample opportunity to throw them a bone or a little sympathy and it just never happens. It doesn't even make sense; the SF grunts were literally just killbots, albeit cute ones, but nytos were constantly portrayed as tragic and pitiful by the narrative. Why did you even bother?
Like, RO's rushing out of their base at the end. There's crowds of nytos everywhere, confused and freaking out in various ways now that their central control system's broken, none of them even attacking her. Pity moment, then have her yell "This place is getting bombed to hell in five minutes! If you want to live, run!" on her way out, which leads to a least a few of them escaping. There, done, you did it, that's all you needed to do, arc elevated a hundred fold. Fuck, man, RO's got her loudspeaker, it was right there.
Sleepo Beepo
>>11404657>What do you guys think of the idea of robot gfs being superhuman (built like terminators), subhuman (legally property instead of people), or both at the same time?Never understood the premise. Power is everything. Any level of free will would lead to them rebelling and supplanting us due to the power differential. You'd need to limit that to get them to play ball, and at that point they lose what makes them different from a metal gear or an abrahms. It only works imo in two settings: one where the ai is common but heavily restricted to the point they aren't really people mentally, which makes them a lot less loveable since it comes off like people who fall in love with present day ai or dolls (delusional). The other being in which they are incredibly rare, human-like in intellect, and only owned by affluent individuals. They are treated like people and as a result behave like people, with the subservience being the result of their personalities agreeing to it rather than any kind of coercion.
>>11404776>Robot stronger than human, why robot not rule?Give it some more thought, Grug.
>>11404755>Why did you even bother?I ponder about this sort of thing often. My schizo guess? /ak/ zako ryona fetishist in the director's chair. The /ak/ aesthetic seems to attract a lot of people who love seeing cute anime girls getting warcrime'd, so maybe since he already tasted the usual "sexy woman getting killed off like nothing" crap and wanted to go for something more extreme with the Nytos. I don't mind some dark moments here and there but there's a point in which this sort of shit goes from "sad war tragedy" to "I wanna punch the writer in the face". Just throwing a few bones to the people who feel bad about the Nyto or SF grunts would be massive but nope, gotta go all in with them getting massacred like nothing.
>>11404788Why do you pay taxes anon? I'll give you a hint, it involves a monopoly on something.
>>11404776>Just program them so they can't harm or disobey humans, ezpz--Asimov, probably
>>11404805Yes, because there aren't a multitude of loopholes, flaws, workarounds, unforeseen consequences, or unintended harmful effects to this that have definitely not been explored by a large amount of speculative media over the decades since that guy said that thing, right? And even if that were enough and doable, there's no way HUMANS would ever make a MISTAKE in implementation, EVER, am I right?
>>11404807I love when people don't bother to look into asmiov past the laws, when he was literally the first one to write a bunch of fiction poking holes in it. It's an interesting and good SOUNDING set of laws, but the instant it gets looked at closely, it all falls apart.Incidentally, read the short story Reason by him, it's a hoot.
>>11404807>>11404809Hell, the very first one that mentions them explicitly (Runaround), is about them going awry.
>>11404807>>11404809Asimov was a genius>Jimmy held Robutt tightly. He was frowning, too, and the desperate look on his face meant that he wouldn’t change his mind. He said, “But what’s the difference how they act? How about how I feel? I love Robutt and that’s what counts.”
>>11404814There is no master but The Master, after all.
>>11404796Why are you asking me that when you ask why robots haven't supplanted us when they're super strong like Terminators?
>>11404805Yeah, that's usually my excuse too. It works often enough to pass for a setting. And when it doesn't, that's an opportunity for drama. >>11404809Beat me to it. It's not even that he was the first one to write fiction poking holes in the 3 laws, he wrote the 3 laws specifically to be ineffective. He made them up as something that doesn't work. But again, if you're writing a story and want AI restrictions like that to usually work, then they do. It's the future and we have super good programs that just work, whatever.

>>11409316I wouldn't bother, they fucked the whole thing up
>>11408694Did you not do your research. Even a refurbished robot is moee powerful and complex than a PS5 by design. However she has multiple AI systems running within her that hogs most of her system's resources. It's not like she can't turn off or minimize those settings. But buying a PS5 on the side thinking she can't run those games on her system is an insult. Even if they aren't running at 4k 120fps with RTX.
>>11409371Oh, don't worry, I won't. Just curious.
pinch points everywhere...
>>11409767First-generation Pinch Point solutions involved basically lining each and every possible pinch point with sensor. This was a garbage way to do this and the drivers to handle their input basically turned them into erogenous zones once the AI brains got advanced enough. Turns out computer can come. And very loudly.

>>11411109I like to imagine a relationship with a robutt to be full of (consensual) tinkering and upgrading. Like a programmer's ongoing personal project, or those car guys who disassemble their engine block for fun over a weekend. The intriguing part of this whole concept for me is a person whose mind and body can be inspected or disassembled to an extent far beyond a normal person. I follow the omni threads because I'm equally fascinated by the idea of someone doing the same to me.
