So, I have a relationship with my robot. She is my servant and I am her master. This might sound like a toxic relationship. However my robot prefers it to be this way. It's not like we are not friends. We have conversations every day. We both share interests in a few things. We take care of each other. I insist I have to do some chores and duties because it gives me peace of mind. And I don't want to overwork my robot maid by giving her all the chores.But why does she insist on being my servant instead of my equal? While she's happy that I see her as a person and not a slave she tells me this: It is in her core programming that she is a servant who must serve a master. And to go against that would make her unhappy. It's just how she is. Perhaps this kind of relationship is for the best as I am motivated to keep my servant happy and well maintained.
