It's actually quite difficult to have to physical bodies really interacting with each other in a convincing way. It requires a good deal of physical acting, which is harder than it looks in animation. The destruction stuff, the real destruction stuff and not the "building just explodes into chunks", by contrast, isn't really as difficult. Or maybe it's a different kind of difficult. At any rate, it's mostly just simulations, which aren't hard, just time consuming to setup and compute. The difficulty comes from simply knowing the simulation systems, layering them on top of each other, and building the sets in a particular way so they're more satisfying to destroy. But even then, the sound is what really does the heavy lifting. I think Eskoz uses Maya, and while it has really good soft body simulations, I'm not sure how robust its "destruction" simulations are. Learning simulations is more about math and logic, whereas animating characters is more about using your powers of observation, which aren't as straightforward to develop. In my worthless opinion, anyways.One of the things that sucks about the current day is Patreon's whole "non-consensual" stipulation, which applies to extremely stylized, not real at all CG characters. So tinies can't really be shown resisting or scared, and their ultimate fates can't be shown. They have to be left ambiguous. Among the many reasons this makes me annoyed, is I've seen what Scrag used to draw from time to time, and I know he'd make the very occasional red dot animation if he could.

The reason you don't see it is because, unsurprisingly, most good size creators aren't programmers or technical people. They're artists first and foremost. ResizeMe! was starting to get the interactions down, but they drowned in feature creep. Personally I think they hit the game design mark on the first try. Any size game with a VR emphasis should to limit itself to 1 room at a time. You could still go from room, to hallway, to room, but you're not travelling all over the place. It'd be a game with a small amount of rooms, but a lot of content for each room.But like I said, there's just so much overhead and additional bug testing required for a VR game that it's not really feasible for a 1 man show. At minimum you'd need 1 good programmer (who can also do some animations), and 1 good animator (who can also make some game assets like characters and clutter). Cynically, VR stuff is not much better for faps. I mean it provides you with a sensation you just can't get with 2D, but on the other hand, I never felt the faps were any better than the top tier 2D content. And the 2D content is much faster to make, relatively speaking. Still, we should have more animated VR content, since the only obstacle there is render time. You can take any 3D animation and make it a VR animation simply by changing the camera settings. They do require higher resolutions, though.
