I wonder when Honjyo Raita figured out that by using big feet you can make the leg look even more long, slender and curvy? She looks less elegant when he or other artists shrink her feet.

There is a page out there where in an interview Raita is asked about his design of ibuki and he gives some waffling nothing answer about how great fgo is for allowing him freedom with his designs and how he wanted to be "surprising" and show her "divinity."

Its pretty obvious from looking at her various forms, he is designing her after a Japanese dragon. The way she is tall and skinny. The way her hands and feet look like dragon claws.

I dont know, its always odd to me how aloof Japanese artists are in interviews. Its almost like they are all perverts refusing to be direct. Like it would kill them to say "oh, I wanted to give this one babe toes so long that she could pick up a coke can" or "i wanted this one to have gigantic tirs" they just say shit like "surprising"

Felicia from darkstalkers is a pretty good example but almost all of the fan art doesnt know what to do wirh rhe feet and hands and either hides them off frame oe does something simplified a d cartoonish wirh them instead

Probably sometime between her normal and swimsuit design. Feels like swimsuit was when she got big feet
