Resin printers are cool but the resin is a legit biohazard until it completely cures, which is hard to guarantee without turning it brittle from blasting it with UV. Unless you want to make a really intricate custom design, you can print a pretty solid cage on an FDM printer. PLA, PETG and nylon are extremely inert and generally safe to have in contact with your skin for an extended period of time. I've been designing my own cages for about 2 years now, and I can print a whole cage in under 12 hours on my old piece of crap printer for a couple cents. A cheap Bambu printer could probably do it in 4 hours and make it multicoloured.
