Almost all magic users become futanari, as well as all monsters. So when this was found out, magic users became exiled from human cities. This is because spells don't just disappear, mana residue builds up and eventually more of the population becomes futanari. They are considered the same as monsters, impure. This has caused some mages to ally with monsters. Monster clans with a mage also tend to experience a large surge in population, as they themselves are cursed with extreme infertility when trying to breed with themselves. Mages found in monster camps are usually surrounded by heaving bodies of monsters being impregnated and the mage being impregnated in turn. Adventuring parties are given huge sums of money if they can bring back a Mages head.
