>be retarded>renovate bathroom>install tile floor>alldone.jpg>measure existing toilet flange for new toilet>11" from wall>all new toilets require exactly 10" or 12" flange distance>no 11" availablewtf don't they make 11" toilets??? now i have to tear up an entire brand new tile floor because they keep changing things to sell more toilets
>>2941751Just get an older toilet that is 11 inches. The ReStore might have one. Or not flip out over a toilet having an inch gap from the wall.
Do you have room to use one of those offset flanges?Cut out a bit of tile near the flange -- it'll be under the toilet anyhow so it doesn't need to fit nice around the waste pipe
>>294175110" will have an extra inch behind the tank, is that a problem?
>>2941917This. Are you retarded op?
>>2941751Had this exact conversation with a friend who tried buying a 14" >Your's is a 10" standard toiletBuy the next number smaller than what you measured. This is normal. That roughout was eyeballed by a drunk Guatemalan, don't worry.
>>2941805but i want an elongated toilet so my p fits in>>2941840>>2941840the flange is already above the subfloor at tile height. can I cut it?>>2941917>>2941925the basin should touch the wall.
>>2942360>the basin should touch the wall. You're a complete imbecile and nothing that contains water should ever touch a wall. How do you clean behind the tank?
>>2942360Stop sitting down to pee
A tip from someone who's been doing residential remodeling for 20 years, always buy your fixtures first. That way you know exactly how everything needs to be situated and you don't have to redo anything.
>>2942360just make a hole in the wall jesus they're like 4" thick not counting drywall.
is this what your current bathroom looks like" jesus christ clean the walls
>>2942360>should
>>2942360>the basin should touch the wall.Incorrect.
