Hey /diy/ bros, total noob at watches here. How to take off the crown of this watch? It's a Perona incabloc 17. It has a little moisture on the inside of the crystal so im just trying remove the internal mechanism to clean it up a bit. Pls help
>>2942106To remove the crown you must remove the stem. There is some non obvious method of unlatching it and it will pull out. Then you can just drop or shake the movement out. The stem release differs beween models, but there are numerous YouTube videos on the models.
The stem release screw is to the left of the crown wheel (wheel with 3 holes). It is a captive screw that is held by the main plate and bridge. Turn to left to loosen and the stem and crown will slide right out when pulled. When reinstalling the stem be sure to align the set lever pin to the notch on the stem.
