Will liquid-paper work to cover the last pin on this wi-fi card? I have to disable that for it to work in my ChinkPad.
>>2947168Why don't you just cut the trace to that pin?
>>2947169Too permanent? I don't want to screw it up.
>>2947168I've used cellophane tape in the past for troubleshooting. Cover both sides with one piece wrapped around the edge. You could also lift the pin of the slot on the motherboard.
>>2947168I think nail polish or CA glue are common material for this. Could you desolder or cut the trace on the laptop side maybe? It might be easier to solder back

>>2947181That will work.
>>2947168use 1vyrain if you can't do a hardware "patch" to make the bios fuck off
Use kapton tape. Liquid paper will scrape off too easily.
