AHHHH! i have mice in the walls! i can hear one scurying around once a day. what do i do??
>>2948955Find out what they are eating and remove it. If they don't have food they will leave.
>>2948955Obtain cat
>>2948963i dont think they are eating anything, there is absolutely nothing inside my walls, they are not getting inside the house also.i dont think they are living inside the walls, i think they jump in, then i bang on the wall and the run out again>>2948965my neighbours just moved and took their cat with them, i think that's the problem
>>2948955
>>2948965cats stink worse than mice
>>2948955called an exterminator for this but to replicate what they did, they sealed off all entrances/exits with a wire mesh, put out poison traps, then came by and collected the bodies. keep in mind they can get in through surprisingly small spaces.or just get a cat. either way, gl op
>>2949011my cat smells like the flowers in the garden
>>2949070you have toxoplasmosis
>>2948955same, but I live in a brick house, which makes it a billion times weirder.mine's eating thru the packed dirt under the bathroom, last time we made it dissappear (temporarily) I had poured bleach and vinegar down the shower drain.wage chemical warfare against the rats
>>2949070mine smell like a fine fur coat, though the male cat smells like perfume on occasion, it's weird and no he's not been anywhere near perfume.>>2949074no
>>2949155cats smell like stale hpiss to normal people you are toxopozzed
>>2948955snap traps. use a fruit chew and mash it into the little loop as bait. you can do 3 traps with one gummy.I've tried everything from sonic plug ins to poison to walking around the outside with a blacklight looking for trails, the only thing that works is snap traps. just keep putting them back until it stops.
>>2949032>poison traps, then came by and collected the bodiesthat's fine until one dies in your ceiling.
>>2949155Perfume has piss and shit content to make people fixate on smell.
>>2949074no i have a cat that cleans itself and sits in the garden rubbing against flowers

>>2948963>If they don't have food they will leave. That's not true.>>2948965*terrier
mice will make homes anywhere they can access thru a small hole, food or not. 'The if there's no food' line of reasoning is dumb because lawn tractor's, outboards, cars and motorcycles and everything else that doesnt move enough sprout them all the timeif a mouse dies behind your sheetrock, you do not smell it. The awful Piss smell of a nest is far worse than a single dead body that turns to a crisppoison block, seal the outside. plan to wage this battle foreverget some of the plastic reusable traps with the jaws that snap, use silicone or super glue to glue a raisin down in the little circle hole for the bait
>>2948963>>2949087It's almost winter you retards. They won't leave on their own accord until spring.>>2948955Traps in the crawlspace or anywhere you find droppings. No poison unless you want your house to smell like festering mouse.
>>2949291>sonic plug insI swear they don't work, put 4 on a power strip and watched a chipmunk scurry right over it.
>>2949830you're gonna darwin award somebody with shit advice like that
Get traps, especially the one that can be used multiple times without rearming, like the bucket fall trap. If you want to go evil route get glue, place some food in place the pass for a week, than place the glue trap with some bait. That will get rid of them, in order to prevent them from getting back seal all tiny holes around your house, you can make some concrete and mix in some broken glass so they hurt them selves when they chew. You can also get a cat, you can keep it outside if it's safe, it will shit and piss outside so no litter box you just need to feed it, pet it, provide shelter and if it gets sick heal it.
>>2949982i tried a glue trap and all i caught was cute little geckosdont recommend
>>2948955Mice? I hate mice, they made me crazy
>>2949899brick house anon here, I don't live in the US. and I'll gass the rats any time I want
>>2949284Nigga what kind of stankitties you got where you live? All cats I ever had were all deparasitized and vaxxed to hell and back and they never showed any kind of stink
>>2950459there's a schizo psycopath that goes around crying about toxoplasmosis and how he would abuse cats as a kid
>>2950067ant their putted me in padded room with mice LOL i loves that meme sir!

>>2950473You have literal brain parasites from your cat fool
>>2949011Canine hands typed this post.
Saw one chipmunk outside near my house so I went and got two brother male kitten. They already killed at least three mice and one bee that I can confirm.
>>2949291This is the way if you don't want dead mice stinking the place up when they die in a place you can't get to. I use these plastic traps, they're really easy to set and really sensitive, I've never had the bait disappear without getting a mouse unless one eats it while one's already caught in the trap (rude). I've had mouse problems twice in my house, each time I caught 5-10 in the traps and then they left. I also recommend making sure the perimeter of the house is clear of debris/vegetation that they can hide in.
>>2948965>Facts. I have feral cats around my neighborhood. People feed them at a certain location. I had a mouse. Then I could see its shit trail eventually all together stopped. Then I remembered this one feral cat that always tried to get into my house. It would even let me pet it. Sometimes I'd see it at the door through the glass. Then I realized that the fucking kitty killed that fucking mouse. Better to have a cat than a mouse problem. They love mice its their favorite toy. They will sit around all day until they get it staring away like charles manson.
>>2948955Dont plug any mous holes you find yet. (They'll chew through a new area.)Just get glue traps, place them aroynd high traffic areas. Those are most effective, if a little inhumane.
>>2948955Don't sweat it op, its probably just ratson the plus side, rats tend to keep the mice away.
>>2948963This is somewhat true, removing easy food sources will make it so that less are attracted to you, but it won't eliminate the problem nor drive away any mice already present.>>2948955As someone who's lived in houses with rampant mouse presence, the best approach is multi-pronged. The one consistent thing, except for the poison and glue traps, is to use peanut butter as bait.>standard snap trapsPlace these anywhere you can't put the other traps I'm listing.>Tunnel trapsPlace these in/along crevices and walls, also stick ends of them through mouse holes.>glue trapsThese are primarily good for determining whether or not a given spot/area has mouse traffic. Put a few down in a spot where you're not sure whether there's mouse traffic. They tend to be unsuspecting of glue traps, and will attempt to walk on them. The bad news is that glue traps are one time use.>rodenticidesI've had good luck with Mouse-X; it's not a conventional poison, but it won't contaminate the corpse, is a fairly selective agent, and is resistant to adaptation. It's a good way to get mice and other vermin that are wary of traps, but you'll need to be careful about exposure to pets. I know that it won't contaminate animals that eat it, but I'm not sure how harmful it is for pets to consume it first hand.>electrocution trapsGet one that has an auto-closing door. I've found these to be effective in getting the little shits that seem to dodge other traps.
GOOD NEWS!another cat has started prowling around my house, i saw it holding a mouse in it's mouth while crossing the street. i no longer have mice in my walls
>>2953616based catthe dogmummies in my city want an outdoor cat ban because they claim they keep killing native birds, i really think its because it makes their rabid shitbulls bark nonstopi hope they actually do ban cats outside and we get the inevitable rodent plague
>>2948955glue traps are great and funny.Once had mom, dad and a family of fuzzy fuckers all stuck on one.>>2949982Bucket drowning traps are funny and you can find their lil skeletons at the bottom after a few months.
I know how to fix this problem virtually instantly. It's actually so easy I'm thinking of starting my own business.
>>2949011obtain snake
I tried losing my mind figuring out some crazy Wile E coyote tier schemes but just trapping the hell out of my house seems to do the trick every fall when the rodents start to look for warmth. Like three times the traps you would think is enough. Brute force wins again.
>>2953616You know, luring cats to hang around near your home with catnip and treats or whatever the furry niggers love sounds like a neat idea.
