>how to make a metal file
You'll first need a metal file
>how to make a hammer
You'll need a hammer
>how to use a level
You'll need a known elevation
>how to cut boards
You'll need 6 level boards

I don't live in remote Alaska I'm just fucking poor, and if I need to make something it's because I can't afford to buy it, and this forces me to undertake a large number of inefficient builds, often concurrently, to achieve something which anyone else would just spend $200 on

If you can't afford a file, hammer, level, and some boards then maybe diy isn't for you...

What are you actually trying to accomplish and having issues with?

Have you tried chipping some basic tools out of flint?
>>

Ask to borrow someone's file, hammer or level and in return offer them some of your labor if they're too miserly to lend you them or people don't trust you?

Go back to the basics, use rocks and sticks and work your way up the tech tree. There's YouTube videos.

Most people on average had some tools they can lend you and supplies for free unless you are toxic and repulsive. Tons of tools are sold or trashed for dirt cheap when business goes down or owner gives up/dies.
Bushcrafting with trashes like dead animal, dead plants and substances of the ground is free tho the biggest challenge is smelting metal.
Most investment has principles, and setups usually make more than one.

Or you could just go make the $200 and use that for the project. Thus getting it done faster and with higher quality.
Sorry, no one here has the schematics to make a nuclear reactor with a hatchet and a Home Depot bucket.
You're not just a lazy fuck, you're a stupid lazy fuck. Get a job on a beaner work crew for a couple weeks, then you'll make money and actually learn something.
