I want to repair this issue on a car that is in my family, the problem is that the rear driver's side wheel wears unevenly with the rest of the tires. I can do the repair myself, but I have no idea what part I am supposed to replace, my guess is the whole strut assemlby, but not 100% sure.TLDR; car had accident some odd years ago, and I am trying to fix for family without getting bent over by a mechanic to tell me which part I have to replace. pic greatly relatedgreen box is rough area where said accident happenedred lines are visual cues to show wheel is off negative camber on rear tire compared to front alignmentorange is where tire wears out
What model Hyundai is it?spindle/axel bent
>>2959908jack the ass up and pull both back tires and compare look for bent shit measure the suspension point to point on both sides to check it something is tweaked order shit off rockauto with a discount codekeep you eyes open for a deal on a different less wrecked shitbox to buy
>>2959909Its a 2006 Elantra>>2959915Thanks will jack it up tomorrow and take measurements as well as look at that site to see if its cheaper than a local pick and pullI asked GPT earlier with same pic and suggested the rear control arms (upper *suggested issue*, lower, trailing), so I will try and compare with other side as well
>>2959937As the other anon said check for.bent stuff and compare to other side. Also while jacked up grab the top and bottom of the tire and try to move it in and out and then do the same side to side to see if there are any loose/clapped out joints.
