So there is this kitbashing thing, where you replace and modify default model kits. Popular in W40k, f.e.
But is there any name for combining and modifying plushie toys?
I am in urgent need of resources and also I could use a community.
Anybody knows anything?
I swear I will take my time to appreciate every non-asshole answer.

I'm familiar with kit bashing leftovers from models but haven't heard of a plushy specific version. What I've seen it's people with sewing skills and odd senses of humour
For this board the sewing general is a better thread >>2959624 because really
>get plushies
>frankenstein together
>>>/toy/ sometimes has prototyping threads but not at the moment
Something about your post makes me want to remind you, similar to this board asking the right questions is OK but /toy/ is not for adult toys
A bit more info might help e.g. what plushies you want to put together, can you sew, is this a once off or an escalating hobby?
>>

its definitely an escalating hobby,
what plushies... just any that i can find in thrift stores or flea markerts and have an idea how
to transform them into something interesting.
i can't sew but i guess it wouldn't be a problem to learn. right? can't be too hard
>>
I've done plenty of repairs to many plush mares and learning to ladder stitch is all it takes (mostly)

This is for weird masturbation/fetish purposes isn’t it
>>
i'd look to the medical community might find a standard for surgical suture racing.

It takes practice, patience and a few finger pricks. This anon knows what's going on >>2960432
Any sewing starts with scraps and learning the basics which, you can get from YouTube videos
Give it a go and come back with questions when you hit problems

Ok, will totally look it up.
Thank. You. Buddy.
>>2960439
Got it.
>>2960438
I don't know if it's joke but it's not funny so I will have to
look up what suture racing is (non-native speaker here)
>>2960434
I am sorry to disappoint your fantasies.
Financial purposes... and also, yet another way to utilize my
vast creative forces.

Mostly sewing as other anons said. You won't be patterning which is the hard part of custom plushies. The trick is you sew everything inside out as much as possible. Look up diy dnd dice bags, plushies are just complex bags so that's the closest to a tutorial I can think of.

Look up plushie mods for inspiration.
Go on
Do it
Google images plushie mods
You know you want too

Just sew one piece to another? Seems simple enough.
What exactly do you want to do?
