Did anyone get anything worthwhile? I barely looked desu. I know there were some deals around but it seems at this point that stores will just use it to try sell off outdated models and none of the actual good stuff ever goes on sale anymore.
>>
Kid got the icon 90 tooth stubby ratchet from harborfreight. I can defeat the mechanism with my fingers.
>>
black friday is mostly a scam now. there really aren't many deals that are better than other sales during the year.

This DESU

There's a store here that does bulk purchases of returns, overstocks etc. that I'll hit once a week or so. Regularly find broke tools to return to a big box store for warranty replacement. Got a 1/2" Craftsman ratchet just last week, they're mailing me a new one
>>

Its all so tiresome anymore. I have all the tools I will realistically ever need, and nothing I will need will ever be on sale...
>>
>>2960928
I'm tempted by the Swisstool MX Clip, it's 20% off right now, but I'm not sure about multitools.

I bought a 1/4" and 3/8" locking flex head ratchet from harbor freight while they're 40% off. Those icon g2 have been out for several months now and ask the actual-use reviews on them are stellar. I have the milwaukee briefcase socket sets I use for mobile work with add-on zip up pouches for my accessories like flex head, stubby ratchets, adapters, wobble & locking extensions, etc, but I didn't have locking flexs and this seemed like the best opportunity to grab them.

I also grabbed those g2 ratchets during the sale. I'm impressed by them. I already have a set of gearwrench 90t locking flexs in my main work box, I also wanted a set for my field kit, but I'm honestly more impressed by these than my gearwrench. The gearwrenchs are floppy and limp when unlocked, these are still very firm and can be used like a regular flex head when unlocked. Appreciate the versatility.

I didn’t look worth a damn either. Spent too much money on other people. $400 later at that stupid ass Vineyard Vines basic bitch white people store and some diamond earrings from Kay means no new Ridgid power tools for me unless somebody else buys them.

On the one hand, I don't need this. On the other hand, I've dreamed of having a laser cutter for the last 30 years or so.

I'm a newfag and starting to accumulate too many tools around my apartment and think I need a toolbox. Is thks a good starting point for $200 or should I look somewhere else

ace hardware had a 50$ gift card, free 10$ gift card deal.
i got 4, so essentially a 20% off deal.
friend is an employee, so i'll get his 10% off.

i wanted to go to dollar general for their 15% off lowes giftcards, but the closest one is an hour away.

I got it a week early, but Home Depot has this Ryobi kit that I couldn't pass up for the price. Aside from small USB-chargeable stuff, the only battery tool I had was an old B&D NiMH drill I got at a yard sale and I wanted to take the plunge. I know Milwaukee is the better choice but everything was 3X the price and I'm not using it for a living. Haven't had a chance to do much yet but I replaced the radiator in my truck with the help of the impact driver and it's a stout little fucker.

Ryobi tools are near free. The batteries are valuable tho. I hate their skill saw. Haven't tried their multi-tool. Just got their BT radio.

That 5.5” circ saw is exactly what you should expect from a cheap 5.5” brushed saw. Get a decent blade on there and you can rip plywood and cut trim and stuff all day. My old neighbor gave me one for free because it had a bad trigger.

I love my little 6.5” Ridgid 18V. Magnesium shoe, super light, and it has the same cut depth as my 120V Craftsman 7-1/4”.
>>
lowes is dropping the skil 12v line apparently. The impact driver is a decent little unit and it's $34.99 on their website right now, with battery and USB-C cable + AC adapter. Their batteries charge through a USB-C port and can also be used as power banks for your phone, which is neat. I have the impact & drill already for around the house, don't need another, might be a good pick up for someone tho
>>

And you're just happen to be black?
>>
>>2962484
They’re dropping flex too, I bought their impact driver sub compact for $49

Battery and charger … included

Looking at getting their nailers next
>>
>>2962711
they're ditching a lot of power tool brands. Wonder if they're going to get serious with kobalt or bring in another brand to replace them
>>
>>2962722
Nah , looks like craftsman is replacing kobalt

So all your kobalt stuff won’t be covered under warranty anymore just like task force going away

Just seems like chervon failed,

They tried to compete with Milwaukee

Skil -> ryobi

Kobalt -> ridgid

Flex -> Milwaukee

But they failed
