how about using normal Comp roofing tiles to make pattern or "accents" along edges, hip, valley.

since its rectangles, maybe more like UFW Union eagle flag stepped pattern of diamond within diamond.

Maybe just alternating strips, with similar but different color accents on edges.

Why is it normal to do patterns on floor, counter, shower, backsplash tiles but not roofing?
