post some /diy/ cosmetisc recepies, tips, hints. this is an anti prespirant/deodorant that i've made 5-6 days ago>coconut oil>baking soda>starchrandom ratio, made it rather dense to be more effective (mostly baking soda)it works like a charm, it lasts A LOT, made one (vrey small ammount, barely 30ml) 2 months ago, lasted up until yesterday.need some tips/hints on how to /diy/ ash lye and using it with lard to make soap
>>2963501I don't think coconut oil makes good soap. But anyway, you can make homemade toothpaste with pretty much the same products. Skip the starch, add in a drop or two of peppermint oil.
>>2963506read anon. 1st i've said that i've made a deodorant/anticprespirant, and 2nd i've asked for some help for making soap with LARD. but thanks for the feedback anyways
>>2963501Will that work as an anti perspirant?Anyway, plenty of recepies here:https://simplifier.neocities.org/
>>2963537Coconut oil does ok in soap… usually an additive. The coconut husks and shells are burned and water is run through it to make lye water for soap making.Where did you get the lard?t. third world
>>2963606Usually the anti perspiring part is just “alum” or “tawas” it’s this rock crystal like salt. Also corn starch seems gross. You can still get real talc powder here, but in the us the johnson & johnson lawsuts saying it’s asbestos are fear
>>2963613homemade. most of us here in the balkans make rendered fat at home, so it's rather easily obtainable. we don't have coconut husks btw. also oldder generations used to make lard soap but my grandmas died during the jewish virus and didn't have the time and idea to ask them the details
>>2963606it works. tried and tested. the baking soda does the main job, makes the underpits alkali so the bacteria that stinks can't survive and reproduce easily. the coconut oil just absorbs itself in the skin over time, amd the starch is there to help absorb the seeat a bit and to stabilize the whole think, but it works without it too, you just feel the baking soda crystals more when you apply it with your finger>>2963616no need for talc, it won't do shit, may just clog your sweatglands and cause problems. it's not organic and not dissolvable

>>2963501you will never be a woman no matter how much sloppashit you put on your face.
>>2963753what's the cook method? i have a bunch of food grade naoh in my kitchen i use for pretzels. making soap sounds based and mass murderer pilled.
>>2963857do you spray deodorant on your face? poor anon, no wonder why you haven't seen boobs in the last 2 decades.
>>2963501I won't say too much since this is my industry, but jojoba oil (actually a liquid wax not an oil) is a miracle ingredient if you're making anything that will have contact with skin.
>>2963866I don't know, that image is all I have. You might go back in the archives and check the comments then. Hopefully, current archives go 10 years back.
>>2963710> cornstarch problems. it's not organic and not dissolvableCornstarch dissolves by rotting and being used as a food for mold, yeasts, and bacteria. It’s basically like glue. I use it to thicken gravy. If you want to put that shit under your hot sweaty armpits, that’s your problem.I’ll continue use talc and/or zinc oxide like the rest of the non-barbarians.
>>2963753can you translate soapmaking skills to bombmaking like they say in fight club
>>2963912I fap with that.
