I melted down a bunch of abs plastic thingies from Optima batteries (they always come with like 5 sets of adapters with each battery) in a coffee can on a turkey roaster burner. Tried pouring ingots into a muffin pan but they would freeze on the surface and then crack and bubble out... I'm guessing I need to put it in some kind of compressible sealed mold to get actual decent quality plastic stock out of it.
