i have gum trees that drop leaves all year round and even just looking at autumn my maple leaves are less annoying
maple leaves vanish quite fast but gum leaves dont is my experience (makes complete sense)

>mow and mulch leaves in to yard
>put mower up for the year
>come spring pick out the rest when getting landscape beds ready
